Been using them for a good few years now still come through on price and service and have had little issues where I've needed to contact them - everytime I have they've resolved it promptly.

Great Price, Great Customer Service
Bought a new Hikvision NVR at a great price from their website, slight issue with model description on my invoice, when I phoned to check it was all correct I noticed CCTV Direct are quite local to me, I arranged to pickup the NVR and had it all setup and running the same day.

lies, lies and more lies
Update on my review of the 29th October in which i gave Sully and the company a glowing review.
now fast forward 6 weeks.
i bought a camera and nvr from them, but not the hard drive. To cut a long story short, i wasted £440 on 2 hard drives that overheated and failed.
i joined a Hikvision group on facebook, told them the problem and there was about 50 people who had the exact same problem with Hdd`s over heating with this particular Nvr model.
Hikvision knew about it and so do cctv direct and all they had to do was supply me with a fan to go inside the Nvr to stop the overheating.
I rang Cctv direct and after speaking to Sully and after speaking to his manager, he admitted, he should of supplied a fan with and would send one out in the next few days.
Guess what. That was 10 days ago and no fan.
There was no sorry, nothing, they weren't interested.
The fan is £10 to buy.
i actually paid more for the 2 Hard drives than i did the camera and Nvr combined.
So to all you people reading this, be aware of this company, they are quick to sell you something but if something goes wrong. Forget it.
They will lie there socks off to get out of it.
You have been warned.

Late order
I placed my order on Tuesday for next-day delivery. You phoned on Tuesday to say an item wasn’t in stock, and I agreed to the delay on the condition that the order would still arrive by Saturday at the latest, as I needed it installed before the builders restart on Monday.
It’s now Sunday and nothing has arrived. This delay has caused a major issue. I would have ordered something different or from another supplier.
I wouldn’t have left a review but you have emailed asking for one even before I’ve received my order.

After speaking with you on Tuesday, we arranged the order on the basis that it would reach you by Saturday at the latest. As agreed, we dispatched your item on Thursday using DHL, which should normally have arrived with you on Friday.
Unfortunately, DHL experienced an unexpected delay with the shipment, which was outside of our control. We understand how important the timing was for you, and we are very sorry that the courier did not deliver within the expected timeframe.
We are currently following this up with DHL to understand why the parcel was held up and to ensure it does not happen again. Thank you for your patience, and we sincerely apologise for the disruption this caused to your plans

Paid extra for next day delivery
Paid extra for next day delivery. Kit was ordered on a Saturday for a job in London. No delivery on the Monday so we had to go to London and we were promised the kit would be with us on site pre 10am. Again after umpteen phone calls to find out where the equipment was we finally received it at approximately 3pm. Terrible service and won't be using them again.

Your order was placed on Saturday, when our dispatch and courier services are closed, so it was processed first thing Monday and shipped via DPD on a next‑day service. Unfortunately, DPD experienced delays outside our control and the parcel did not arrive as scheduled.
When we learned you needed the kit in London on Wednesday, we attempted a diversion which DPD could not complete. To minimise disruption, we sourced a local supplier and arranged same‑day hand delivery to your site at our own cost.
We understand how frustrating this was and sincerely apologise despite our efforts to resolve the situation. Please contact us directly if you’d like to discuss further.
