1st & last time I use CEF. Placed online order on Tuesday 8am and paid for next day delivery to store. Received email confirmation with tracking from DX distribution.
Rang up store on Wednesday, no sign of delivery, rang up Friday, still no sign. Checked tracking email which was absolutely useless, not even recorded as being recieved by DX. Nothing Saturday. Rang Monday STILL nothing!! No return call to my enquiry, no email, just nothing. Left it till lunchtime Monday and paid a visit to store. The store called through to online order helpline and after a long call, the guy went out back and came in with my order that had been sitting there since Thursday. The invoice had the same reference number (BKD229650) I had been quoting during my calls, even had my mobile number on it yet it took 4 calls and a visit to store to find it had been on the shelf for 5 days. I've had electricians & plasterers on hold and now can't get them back for another week so a kitchen job for an elderly gentleman is now stopped. I also had another £185 which I was going to spend in store but after this, I took my customers money elsewhere as I have a week to shop around!
Trust pilot asking for a constructive review!! I shouldn't have to tell a company how to perform basic customer service.
I will not spend any more money at this company.
