Brilliant service from Jason ( Fareham Branch )

Description, Part Number and Specification of the Ceiling Pull Switch were clear. Packaging was good and the goods arrived un-battered. Delivery was punctual.

When returning items bloody pain
Order materials in advance for large works then as the 30 days has gone will not return even when item damaged before box opened
Staff very helpful but seems it’s the Citys system will be reviewing my options before another large job

Every time I call whoever answers can always answer my query or sort out what ever need sorting.

Item purchased on line due to being non stocked locally.
However item was faulty but local store helped out (April at Fareham) with replacement, first class support!!

I believe CEF Fareham is fantastic. Whenever I need something urgently, they always assist me promptly. Their in-store pricing is better than online, and they consistently go above and beyond to help. Ross and Ashley, in particular, have been incredibly helpful and always go the extra mile for me.

The only downside is their online service. The customer service department for online orders over the phone has been disappointing

I have used CEF now for around 3 years. I don’t think I have ever had a good experience with them. From constantly delivering the wrong materials to jobs. Charging me for items I never picked up. Just this week I was forced to use them to purchase a part I was desperate for online. I ordered it with a next day delivery option… 1 week later, nothing.. I checked today and the order had been cancelled!
I’ve been constantly frustrated throughout my experience of CEF… and what’s crazy is that they are the most expensive wholesalers I’ve used! Expensive, poor customer service, terrible online purchasing system… that’s my reviews.

Excellent and easy ordering and delivery service. Must be a business model other wholesalers want to be able to deliver.

Easy website to navigate and when the order delivered to store you get a phone call to say items are in store and ready for collection. Branch staff are always polite and extremely helpful.

This delivery was ok however …

When I tried to return previously ordered items to local CEF store I had one problem after another. Poor attitude culminating in them refusing to take items back that I’d done a click and collect from other local store.
