I am sharing my experience to warn other travelers about my dealings with cheapflyingfares

Based on my experience, I believe this website operates in a manner that consumers should approach with extreme caution. After payment was made, I encountered significant issues with receiving my ticket and obtaining reliable customer service. The responses I received were inconsistent, and resolving the matter became extremely difficult. I never received my tickets from this agency that I paid 5K for, when I called them to confirm my e-tickets 5 days before my departure date, the scammer informed me that my reservation was cancelled, due to overbooking by the airline, they never booked my tickets on Turkish Airlines, and the scumbag told me a refund has been processed that would take 7-10 business days, and this was on June 7th, and I've still not gotten my refund from this horrible agency!!! These are low life scumbags and bottom feeders of society..

If I could give it zero stars, I would. They intercepted a search from a legit sight and contacted me. That's when I should have known. The names didn't jive. Then they said I would get my boarding pass 24-48 hours prior to my flight. This did not happen. Two days prior, I spoke to someone who said one day before the flight. Then I was unable to reach anyone by phone or by chat on the website - which I found only after I went to my CC to dispute the charges. This place is a total scam. I will tell everyone I know. They put you off saying "just give us one more day...then "give us a couple more hours"....Don't waste your time.

I purchased a ticket in advance to meet my new great grandson, anticipating the joy of seeing him. I was told I would receive my ticket before my flight. The ticket never showed up and the phone kept on ringing. I spent $366 and now will have to drive a great distance. This was a total scam that totally disrupted my life! DON'T use them!

This is what they sent me the day before my trip.

I read the bad reviews and I still tried them.. worst mistake ever. Its all a scam. They charge your card immediately and tell you a random date you will receive your tickets. They never send the tickets. I called the day I was suppose to receive them and they said oh no we will send them the day before you leave.. the day before I called and called and everyone promised me I would get it in a few hours, 4 calls, all said dont worry you'll get the ticket in a few hours.. NEVER GOT IT.. day of my flight I called, what did they say? Oh sorry the airline canceled your ticket! Lies! They never booked it.

Made reservation via BestAirFares.com 2 monhs early for 3 and received confirmation.

When no chg appeared on our CC, I called and learned it didn't go through because seats were no longer available for that price but, for $50/ticket, they had seats in the main section. Felt like a classic Bait&Switch.

Because they were still so cheap, we accepted this and then got msg from airflightfare.com saying that the reservation was good and merchant name was 'Cheap Flying Fares'.

Represntative (Nicole) assured us we were good and tickets would be issued about 10 days before flight. She explained that they were a consolidator and that they definitely had a block of seats to sell. Turns out they did *NOT* have the inventory in hand and at 9 days out, they refunded and told us the flight was overbooked.

We immediately checked and seats were available on both flights, only now we had to pay twice the price via the open mkt vs. a discounter like them. Huge scam and it cost us over $1500 more in the end than if w had bought on the open mkt originally.

Don't do it unless you don't have to travel at a specific time and you're willing to let someone 'hold' your money on a gamble that the seat will materialize. And don't reserve a room at your destination until you actually have your tickets.

Terrible business practice to sell a seat you don't have and then string the customer along until the last minute and leave them stuck.

*BEWARE* This is a highly sophisticated SCAM. I made a booking for a flight on their website. My debit card was charged immediately. I received an email stating I could get a refund within 30 days. I received a screenshot of an itinerary with a confirmation code for American Airlines. When I checked the booking on American Airlines website, I saw that the tickets were not ticketed but only placed on a hold. I spoke to customer service for AA. They told me the ticket hold would expire the next day. I never received an e-ticket. I called hotflightdeals and they told me they did not send me the email, my card was never charged, and they could not give me a refund. I got the run-around every time I called. They gave me phony names like "Tim Smith" and "Andrew Anderson" even though everyone had a thick accent and an English language barrier. They would not give me an address but said they were in AZ and then WY. My bank could not stop the charge because it had already gone through. These people are parasites.
