Extremely poor service
I'm flabbergasted to see the lack of customer attention or care at Checkers Centurion Lifestyle. I've been trying to weigh in my produce but not all products are available on the scale to choose from. So trying to find anybody to assist you is virtually impossible. No staff, no security, I've could have walked out of the store without paying for any vegetables and nobody would have noticed. If you look in the far distance everybody is hurdled at the cash registers chatting, socialising and doing what cheap labourers do ... nothing. I eventually went into an office to find two more just talking and doing nothing. Even explaining I require assistance, you still get the squint eye stare clearly showing they have no idea what you are asking or what they need to do. 1. This is what happens if you hire cheap labour. They are very uneducated, can't read, write, spell, use grammar or count so save their lives but they have to be hired. They are just there to get a salary but not work. 2. I also blame the lack of management. There are NO manager on the floor or office or even in the store. This is the kind of crap that happens if you have no managers on the floor. You can't entrust the floor to people who lack responsibility.

Glad I can find anything I'm looking for in the store ,the customer service is horrible though....Checkers Monument krugersdorp has the worst service ,I joined the express line and only one till was working ....there were 6 tillers there talking and not helping customers, one till had no tiller cos they were all busy chatting ,we stood in the line for 15 minutes . This is not the first time such has happened before.

Went to Checkers Pine slopes, went to the hot food section, 4 of the staff chatting loud, ignored me, black lady came and got assistance, I had to raise my voice before assistance was given, till lady kept talking to her previous customers while attending to me - find the service has deteriorated, disappointed.

We went to your outdoor shop in Zeerust on The 5 October 2024 , a friend told us that they have a special on Kettle braai .
We came all the way from Botswana .
On arrival we looked at the Kettle braai on special for R2599.95
The lady showed us what is included . My husband told her that they must get it ready we just want to eat something at Spur .
After a while we went back , we took 25kg charcoal that was on special the Kettle braai and a few other things.
She put everything thru and the kettle braai was more than on the advert . She said they put the price on the wrong item .
Acording to me if thats the case then the store must give it to you at that price.!
She called the Manager , he was very Arogant with my Husband . He just said can't give him the Kettle braai at that price !
When we left the shop my husband phone your customer service spoke to several people , still no answer they only gave us a reference number!
A week later we had to go to Zeerust again . Phone client Service again and they said they still investigate ..
So we spoke to a Lawyer friend and he said we have a good case , you have to give it to us at the price it was advertise in the shop

On 18 October 2024 at 10h20 we wanted to pay our groceries. For 20 minutes they were trying to scan the specials but due to the fact that it was not loaded on their system it was'nt able to assist. My husband ask to speak to the manager, he took he's time to eventually appear with a bad attitude as my husband started talking to him he immidiately said to my husband, ok bye and walked away. The staff started laughing and we were left there humiliated by everyone for what???? Because they are incompetent and want to make us look stupid. How unprofessional of the staff to treat their customers so rudely. This incident happened 3 weeks ago also and up to today they did not fix their computer problem. We are shopping there for the past 10 months and its really not a pleasure to do so. The staff is very unfriendly and they ask the same question 2 to 3 times over. Other customers were also irritated and frustrated, because we were at the till for over half an hour to settle the bill. This incident was the most horrible experience ever and it leaves us with a negative feeling towards your store. We dont even want to shop there anymore. The service is unprofessional and the staff are unfriendly and incompetent from the manager down. Disgusting

Checkers Bryanpark 60/60 staff have no respect towards instore customers
Checkers, Bryanpark, Bryanston lost control over their Checkers 60/60 staff.
It is a common sight to see 60/60 staff run around and ride on their shopping trolleys like children in the store. They bump into customers, push customers out of their way and are rude towards customers.
I reported incidents to in store management on 24 July 2024 and today 13 August 2024.

It's always very disappointing to order anything fresh from the app. You're guaranteed to always get stuff that's near expired. Especially bread and meat . And th fruit....you get the rejects ....the tiniest banana the green ones that everyone shoves to the side! Yet we pay for the service. Service used to be great but now it's either delayed or you get poor quality products or theyr out of stock! Very frustrating.

The 60 Sixty services definitely needs better management. I have had good experiences in the past however, on my last order. The meat items were missing. According to customer services all the items were meant to be in the 4 bags that were delivered.
