terrible customer service management do not care
I had a terrible experience with CWH online customer service staff who wasted so much of my time not addressing my emails and sending scripted responses and failing to escalate my complaint to management, culminating in a formal complaint. CWH management did not care and when I tried to follow up head office actually abruptly ended my call basically hanging up on me when I requested a final outcome to my complaint, and even when I stated I thought a goodwill voucher of 20 bucks to spend at CWH for all my wasted time would be appropriate I was told that was not possible and the head office staff member stated they couldn't help me further and thanked me for calling then hung up on me. What an atrocious way to deal with a customer who has multiple disabilities and has spent hundreds of dollars at CWH - but will obviously not be doing so anymore. Avoid dealing CWH online customer service staff or face the unacceptable waste of time they are and find another chemist!

Would not return an item after 7 days... even after explaining I was out of the country and could not return it. It was a make up bag that I didn't need... it's not like it was vitamins or beauty products with a use by date. The Munno para shopping centre chemist has to be the worse ever. So long to fill scripts usually 35-45 mins, go to collect script,always ask for a particular brand,which I have had put on the computer as a note to always prescribe this brand. No ! incorrect brand supplied. Wait another 10 minutes for them to correct. Not only does this frustrate me, but I get this medication every 4 weeks and have done for over 10 years yet every time I put the scripts in the medication is never in stock so hence need to wait another 24 or sometime 48 hours for them to order it in.
Seriously I don’t think I can do this anymore, considering on using another chemist. So frustrating!!!!

I use Chemist Warehouse in Dun Laoghaire. The pharmacist Long and Mihn are so helpful. I had a lengthy prescription for someone who had surgery and all items were explained. Andrea and Camelia are also very helpful. Well done to all the Dun Laoghaire staff.

Is very convenient and I haven't had issues with customer service. I also quite like their product selections. But the aesthetics are appalling. It looks like you're stepping back in time to 1999 walking in there. People go there to collect medication to feel better but the place is so depressing it makes you feel more ill. The writing of the signs looks like a 1990s going to blockbuster style, like prices were hand written. Please update your look to the 21st century!

i always find chemist warehouse staff helpful and polite most of the time a great instore experience as well as usually cold and i wanted to get out of the heat. I left on New Year's Eve 2025 unsure of what I wanted or finding as heat was bad and overpopulated with male teen looking kids kissing girlfriends trying on perfume (i thought that was bit over done! and there is a time and place for everything and its not in shops or public! ) everywhere and a lot of crowds from after xmas sales. so i didn't really get what i wanted. but I think they need to reduce the long queues over xmas and easter times somehow. either encouraging more home and work office or other delivery services, with click and collect its great service every time. and deliveries always very good.

The chemists are professional and go the extra mile to assist with script issues if there are any. This week an aisle person started me to a new product - whiteglo floss picks which are brilliant. Crazy security
I’ve been in the Mallow branch and yesterday in the Mahon branch!
While shopping I was constantly under surveillance by the security guards!
All I wanted was toothpaste and even then while looking at the toothpaste two security guards walked past!
It’s very uncomfortable and it’s the only shop I’ve ever been to that it’s this bad!
Price wise, the savings are not worth the hassle as it’s only cents you are saving!
I won’t be back and I don’t recommend anyone waste their time!

Products are good but why have specials online when there is no stock instore to click and collect so much easier no paying for delivery waiting 7days for my order now nz post why use them they are slow no tracking updates online for my order over it wont be using delivery again

Said I must have put in the wrong address Will NEVER shop with them again. Aust Post are trying to help

Ripped off, charged delivery fee on cancelled order
I made an online order on 3 Dec and payment accepted. Chemist Warehouse cancelled order on 4 Dec with no explanation, I would assume the product was out of stock although the order could be made and paid for. Chemist Warehouse then gave a partial refund, it was for the cost of the product only. Chemist Warehouse did nor refund the delivery cost although no product was going to be delivered. I questioned this on their customer service website however have not received a response as yet. Why do they charge a delivery fee if there is no product being delivered? Chemist Warehouse is committing outright fraud by accepting orders, charging delivery fee and then cancelling the order but keeping the delivery fee

Extremely disappointing Click & Collect experience at Chemist Warehouse Darlinghurst.
I placed a $340 Click & Collect order, but my order was never fulfilled because the system required an email confirmation that I NEVER received. I tried to contact customer service through the official email address provided, but my email bounced back because the address did not exist or was not able to receive messages.
I received no written reply from Chemist Warehouse regarding my complaint, even after multiple attempts. I then had to call customer service myself, and only after I escalated the issue was my order finally cancelled. A staff member named Belinda assisted me on the phone and confirmed the cancellation, but I should never have needed to go through this much effort for a simple online order.
The communication from Chemist Warehouse has been extremely poor, and the system issue caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and embarrassment. I should not have to chase a refund or chase customer service just to find out why my order wasn’t processed. A major brand should have better customer support, working email contacts, and faster escalation procedures.
I expected a professional experience, but instead I dealt with avoidable system failures and a lack of accountability. I hope this review alerts management to take customer complaints more seriously and improve their communication systems.

Do not purchase from. I purchased a product online that turned out to be faulty. They gave me the run around for weeks trying to return it. When I threatened to contact fair trade I finally receive a refund but only a partial, pack of thieves who are only out to make a dollar. Do not waste your time or money with them.
Order cancelled then refunded without delvery fee paid
I just made an order online and paid the $9.99 delivery fee. Not long after I got a meassage that the order had been cancelled with no explanation. Within a short time I got a refund back to my account, but without the delivery fee.
Extremely Disappointed with Chemist Warehouse's Heartless Policy and Poor Service
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Chemist Warehouse, 124 Manukau Road, Pukekohe. What should have been a simple customer service interaction revealed a company that prioritizes profit over patient care and common sense.
Two days ago, I purchased two packs of Muninex for a chesty cough. Unfortunately, the product did not provide the relief I needed. Since one pack was still completely sealed and intact, I returned to the store to request a refund for the unopened item.
My request was flatly denied by the retail staff (Ara, Leah, and Antonia). The reason given was both illogical and insulting: "Once medicine is sold, it cannot be refunded as it might have been stored in a hot car, making it ineffective."
This justification is utterly ridiculous. If they are so concerned about temperature control, why do they offer online delivery? Does a delivery truck magically maintain a climate-controlled environment? Their logic is inconsistent and seems designed solely to reject legitimate customer requests.
To make matters worse, when I stood my ground, the staff simply left my medication and receipt at the cashier and ignored me, clearly hoping I would give up and go away. This is not customer service; it is dismissive and unprofessional behaviour. I wasted my time, and at $28, this was a significant waste of money.
This situation was compounded by the poor advice I received at the original purchase. When I bought the two boxes, the staff member insisted they couldn't be on the same receipt and had to be processed separately. Why didn't she use her common sense and advise me to try one first and then come back for another if it worked? This would have prevented this entire issue.
This experience has made it crystal clear: Chemist Warehouse cares only about the sale, not about the customer's well-being or their medical condition. They are happy to take your money but offer zero empathy or support when a product doesn't work as needed.
I will never shop at Chemist Warehouse again and will certainly not be sending my prescriptions to them. I strongly advise others to consider pharmacies that actually stand behind their products and value their customers' health over a quick dollar.
