As a church minister we have moved around a lot but we have not had a better moving experience than the one we had a couple of weeks ago with Cheshire Removals. They were simply fantastic. The team we had were polite, thoughtful and hardworking. When we were struggling to get our big furniture into the house they got extra help and found a solution. Brilliant.

Turned up on time both days - always important in my book. One day to pack the majority of our belongings into boxes and some furniture loaded onto van. Next day the remaining furniture was loaded and then the move itself went smoothly. Everything was packed well so no damage at all. A good team of guys who looked after our furniture and belongings. Back office staff were also very good and efficient. Would definitely recommend . Thanks to all.

Great experience from initial quote through to moving day itself. The team were really helpful and I found the whole event much less stressful than I'd initially expected thanks to the experience and efficiency of the crew.
I was also really pleased I chose the fragile pack option, it saved me loads of time, really worth it.

I would highly recommend Cheshire Removals. We moved on the 26th September 2025 and the team that turned up when they said they would were absolutely brilliant from beginning to end. Austin, Sam and Jack were very polite, courteous and very hard working. They made for a great team! The way they loaded was impressive to watch, every inch of the waggon was used (it needed to be!) and the way they went about their business made what was at first a day of stress to a day that was very rewarding and enjoyable.
When we got the keys to our new place, the guys followed our labelling process to the letter and even moved the previous owners stuff so that they could get on! They were so impressive to work with. Thank you guys, we were and still are very grateful for what you did on our moving day. Cheshire Removals are an excellent choice for moving home.
Janet and Paula also were very helpful and were able to answer any questions before we moved.
Overall I would describe our experience as; Reliable, trustworthy and a pleasure to work with.

The two Daves are great at there job nothing was to much trouble for these guys they put you at ease as moving house can be very stressful as we all know we had 18 ton truck and we filled it up Tom was also great at his job all three of them are a credit to the company they are very professional and worked very hard loading and unloading they made the move go like clockwork and I hope the management appreciated the people that work for them as it is to get good workers these days I highly recommend Cheshire removals to anybody 5 star all the way.

Turned up on time , loaded van quickly and very cheerfully, at new house we had to wait 3 hrs for keys ( bank messing about ) but unloading went uneventfully and away 90 mins later , hard working and cheerful too , highly recommend Chris and his team

Packing on the first day went well although quite a lot was left for moving day. On the day, they arrived later than I was told to expect, I was then told we would be on the road to the new house before lunchtime but then one van was elsewhere completing a job so it was 2:30pm before we set off. Communication was poor (they set off without telling me, meaning they were then waiting for me at the new house). Unloading was quick (an hour total) but some items were placed in the wrong room (they assumed based on where they had been before but didn’t ask) and there wasn’t much consideration for what we would need access to in terms of how items were placed in rooms (one room we had to empty in order to be able to start unpacking). Our plants were fairly damaged, some books were bent and our bathroom unit had two legs snapped off the back - it was propped against the wall so I’d be surprised if they didn’t realise this was done when they put it there. Would not use again.

To address the points made below:

It’s true that the lift was out of service for a few hours on the packing day (not all day). Given this, I don’t understand why the time that would have been used for loading wasn’t used to complete the packing - when we arrived home on Sunday all three bedrooms and our large storage cupboard had not been touched. The team told me we would be leaving before lunchtime when they arrived on Monday and were fully aware of what they still had to do - I was told the delay was because the other van they needed was delayed on a job in Northwich, not because of the lift issues.

Although no designated parking is available outside the apartment, we had arranged with the council for the van to park on the side street alongside our building. This was communicated to the office both verbally and in writing in advance and to the movers on the packing day.

I informed you of the broken bathroom unit within 5 minutes of submitting the review. You have not responded to that email at all or offered any restitution via the review response.

As you didn’t counter any of the other points, I assume that you concede them. If anything, your response makes me more convinced that the rating I’ve selected is a fair reflection of our experience.

Cheshire Removals team Jason, Nick & Jack were absolutely amazing, they are a real credit to your company, will highly recommend family & friends.

Had a fantastic experience from start to finish and would highly recommend. Janet, the lady who sorted the booking was extremely pleasant, understanding and helpful. Tom, Dan and the other young man who packed up the day before the move were all brilliant, packing with care and consideration and being very patient with my Dads high anxiety levels. On the day, Tom, Dan and Michael all did a fantastic job getting us moved out and into the new property, putting things in sensible locations and asking where things should go, positioning heavy items in exactly the right place. I literally cannot fault them - huge thanks guys!!
