Plumber arrived on time.
Plumber arrived on time.
Checked fault and explained what was needed to rectify problem. Then gave us a detailed quote which me excepted.
He then proceeded to replace unit.
After installation he cleaned the area.
He also returned later to check that unit had pressurised and all was safe

The service men turned up when they said that they would. They were courteous and left the work area as tidy as they found it.
In the work team there was a tradesman and an apprentice and they carried out their work quickly and, it appeared to me, efficiently.

Quick replacement of hot water system
Handyman explained the cause and multiple options available to fix it. Explained pros and cons of each. Replaced whole Hot Water system in a few hours. Tested everything. Post job clean up can be improved (it was raining that day, to be fair).

Dylan and his mate were very thorough and diagnosed the problem regarding the blocked sewer without having viewed the house diagram of sanitary drainage which I located after they departed.
We are now in the process of considering our next move re. replacing a section of fractured pipe.
I hope the above is helpful.
I have to say though that plumbing jobs are very expensive.
