SEO work strongly recommended
We vetted ChurchSEO as a potential service provider for our congregation; while we haven't been able to engage yet, we were pleased by the prompt and professional responses to email. Rev. Jackson was honest with us that it would be better for us to wait until we're able to overhaul our site rather than pitching us his services for a webpage that wasn't ready.
As some background context, I'm a front-end [web] engineer at a Fortune 100 company, and while I don't have direct SEO experience myself (that aspect was handled by a whole separate team at my employer), I do have the technical background to make a good assessment of ChurchSEO's work. For SEO-related work, ChurchSEO provides *extremely* good value for the cost and I am recommending this provider for my friends' churches and other aligned nonprofits.
The websites are solid for this price range; a lot of times what you'd get in this price point is someone who has some experience with WordPress or Wix but hasn't learned much about SEO or the psychology of web marketing - those are things you'll get handily from ChurchSEO.
I admit that I have. . . strong opinions, developed over a long period in the industry, but I'd recommend that most congregations skip over "mid-priced" vendors for church websites. I've seen congregations pay $10-$15k for websites that have mistakes I would have known better than to make by my third week of code bootcamp.
What I'd tell my friends looking for a new church website would be to either DIY, get in touch with ChurchSEO.io, or else get in touch with a high-end full-service agency and expect to pay a minimum of $40k (and no, that's not as crazy as it sounds, it will make sense for some churches).
