Everything was fine, BUT the smell from the toilet was honestly unbearable. 🤢 I’m really not exaggerating, it was absolutely disgusting and clearly bothering other passengers too. I ended up putting perfume under my nose just to survive the 3+ hour journey.
I wonder if the cleaning frequency just isn’t enough during the busy summer season, especially with more passengers and this unusually hot Irish weather.
Everything else was fine, but that toilet smell… absolutely brutal. 😷

Super flexible. Super nice and always on time truly.
Lians is one of the workers and I met him at the Galway Coach Station and he went the extra mile.
Highly recommend the company and its workers.

From my experience Citi Link are a company that provide a fantastic service at a price that if I were to drive to Dublin Airport park my car etc are less than half the price. The service is brilliant and times too.. oh and very comfy too..

Comfortable journey with no delays. The bus was clean & had access to a phone charger. Amazing staff that are friendly. Would highly recommend this bus company

Welcome to Ireland the 7th highest gdp in Europe but the transport system represents a third world country maybe that’s even an insult. It’s the only European country without a train to the airport I think that says enough! Tip for ya if u traveling with citylink make sure u book your ticket online or they will leave u behind as I am assuming option one they can see that they are booked up with online bookings and know they won’t have space for return bought tickets or pay with the driver but simply ignore and don’t at least send out a message on their website so u can make your flight or wherever u are going or it’s more simple than that they don’t have a system they live in the Stone Age and have no clue what’s going on. Also I challenge anyone that can prove any sort of public transport in Ireland has ever been on time.

I booked for the 14:30 to Dublin airport route on Saturday 1st August, departing Galway city. Arrived early. The young staff members who were on the desk were so obliging. They took the time to explain different routes to tourists etc. I saw 2 of them at different stages walk some tourists to the door to show them where the City Link office is. They tried to facilitate those who didn't have tickets. The process reminded me of days of yore when people tried to be helpful and solve issues. I have travelled extensively, and witnessed others who didn't know the meaning of the word, obliging.

I took the 923 from Galway to Clifden at 10am this morning. The driver scanned my ticket with “canal bridge” as my endpoint. I should clarify I’m a tourist visiting Ireland for the first time and taking a bus out from Galway as a first experience. Although I was following along the route looking at the timetable on my mobile browser, the driver was deeply engaged in long phone conversation, on his earpiece, and therefore distracted from making any announcements or doing all the stops. He wrongly assumed passengers would be able to make known what their stops are at exactly the right time. Canal bridge wasn’t labeled as a stop like some previous ones were, and bottomline he should not have been on the phone distracted from his duty. When he finally hung up and I asked whether canal bridge was the next stop he just said “you missed it a while back” and “I slowed down.” His suggestion was to take the noon returning bus and just fix it that way. Very disappointed in my outbound trip.

Update: after my review was published, Customer Service reached out to me with assurances that feedback would be used to enhance and improve services. I would add as well that my return trip was perfect, so both those considerations prompted me to add a star.

Asked about a student ticket, charged me a full adult version, even though the student ticket is 3x cheaper. Scam

This is a very convenient bus to and from
Limerick to Dublin Airport.
The bus is comfortable and noise free. No loud music or antisocial behaviour. The bus driver was very polite.
One very happy customer arrived back to limerick safely.
I travel on this route regularly so be good if loyal customers got a better travelling discount ☝️

We took the 8.45 City Link bus from Galway Coach Station to Dublin City Centre this morning. We had a really lovely woman (lady) driver. From meeting her as we got on to our departure exactly 2.5 hours later our journey was a pleasure. Such a competent and steady driver she was. Unfortunately I've forgotten her name, but she deserves 5 stars for all she did to make our journey so pleasant. Many thanks Rosemary and Dorothy

Flawless day trip from Galway to Dublin! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We took a day trip from Galway to Dublin on Tuesday, July 14th, catching the 08:45 departure from Galway and returning on the 13:45 bus from Dublin. As regular Citylink passengers, we take this journey often, but today's experience stood out as truly exceptional and deserves a solid 5 stars.
Both of our bus drivers were incredibly well-presented ladies. They were absolute professionals who read the road and traffic conditions perfectly, making the entire trip remarkably smooth and extremely comfortable. Furthermore, both buses were spotless, right down to the onboard toilet facilities.
A massive thank you to the entire Citylink boarding staff, and a special shoutout to our wonderful female drivers for making today's trip so fantastic! We highly recommend Irish Citylink to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality coach travel.

I can’t thank Linda at Irish Citylink enough for the exceptional customer service she provided. On one of the busiest travel days of the year, I was completely stuck trying to get from Galway to Dublin, and Linda went above and beyond to help me.

She took the time to explore every possible option and made sure I got a seat when it seemed impossible. Her professionalism, kindness and determination to help turned what was a very stressful situation into a smooth and hassle-free journey.

Driver was on time and sorted those with Bookings first. Class 1 for me.

I am using Citilink for 4 year's now doing a weekly commute to Dublin. It's a brilliant service always very professional and prompt. Special shout to Dave the 6.15am driver on the Dublin City service he is brilliant with the customers. The passager assistance team and customer service teams are also brilliant. Any query is always responded to immediately and handled with the upmost professionalism.

I used citylink recently and got the express bus to the airport which is such a great service. Seats are comfy, driver was very friendly & accommodating. He was especially helpful to an older lady who needed help with her bags.
My flight home landed early and I was able to take an earlier then booked bus back, which is so great as I didn't have to wait around for the bus I originally booked. Would 100% recommend using this service.

I have been using Citylink for sometime now as a regular visitor to Dublin , i find the buses always to be clean and tidy and always on time .. It's always been smooth sailing ...wud highly recommend . I find the bus drivers very friendly especially a Noel and a Catherine .. keep up the great work

9:15 pm Dublin Airport to Galway – 9 July 2026
Three hours of absolute misery. The bus emitted a piercing, high-pitched squeal every single time the driver accelerated. It happened repeatedly for the entire journey and made it impossible to relax or sleep.
There is no excuse for putting a coach with an obvious mechanical fault into service. If the noise was that noticeable to every passenger, it should have been repaired before leaving the depot or the bus should have been replaced.
Customers pay for a comfortable, reliable service—not to spend three hours listening to a vehicle that clearly needed maintenance. This was completely unacceptable.

Been using Citylink for nearly 20 years and have always been happy with the service and staff. The bus always goes on time and the drivers are very friendly. Also appreciate the new bus routes and services they have added over the past few years, very handy not having to go into the city to catch the bus.
