ClayWays is a welcoming pottery studio overlooking beautiful peaceful countryside half way between Nantwich and Whitchurch. We offer creative, hands-on pottery making experiences for all abilities—whether you're a complete beginner or an improver wanting to build your skills. Our workshops include everything from wheel throwing and hand-building to surface decoration and glazing, all taught in a relaxed, friendly setting with expert tuition and plenty of encouragement. At ClayWays, we’re more than just a pottery studio—we’re a community. Built on trust, creativity and friendship, our space brings people together through a shared love of clay. Alongside our popular workshops, we offer kiln hire and kiln sharing for potters who need access to firing facilities, and we actively support our students by helping them promote and sell their handmade items through exhibitions, events and our own platforms. We also run relaxed ‘Pots & Prosecco’ evenings, host themed decorative sessions, and provide beautifully presented gift vouchers, perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or just because. Tracy is a star. She’s warm, welcoming & entirely beginner friendly.
She took the time to talk me through, step-by-step until I’d made something I was genuinely proud of.
I can’t wait to go back to finish off my piece, when it’s ready for a glaze. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Amazing experience at Clayway’s
Amazing experience at Clayway’s - Tracy is patient and shares her knowledge freely. We did some slab work as well as using the potters wheels and throwing some pots! Lovely location. Can’t wait to go back to glaze my creations and make some more! Can’t recommend Clayway’s highly enough.
