Decent place waylaid by 1990s tech
Decent place waylaid by 1990s tech, got sent a link that didn't work - when notified didn't get a response but many more automated spam emails with the same broken link. Not the advisor's fault but speaks volumes to the company's worrying digital posture in 2024.

If you need a rabbit pulling out of a hat, Olivia is the contact you need. I was turned down by multiple brokers who refused to engage-brain or think outside the “computer says no” mindset.
Even if you have quite a straight-forward case, I’d recommend Olivia as someone who is a total professional and makes the mortgage application process quite effortless. The Cleerly application process also pre-fills a lot of data, so you don’t have to repeatedly enter the same thing on five different forms, which I actually really appreciated. There’s an online progress tracker and document upload function, which kept everything in one place. It’s all preferable to the alternative when you have so many other things to do. I’ve used brokers in the past and this was a very different experience.
Experienced, knowledgeable, confident, unflappable - exactly what we needed at a very stressful time. Thank you for helping us secure our home Olivia.

What a fantastic experience
What a fantastic experience, Will gave us clear direction from day one, selected the best mortgage for our circumstances and got us the yes we craved. We tried a few other lenders first through a different company and after multiple knock backs saw an ad for cleerly mortgages and decided to give them a try, best thing we ever did, if I knew then what I know now we would have gone to cleerly first.

Cleerly excels where others have…
Cleerly excels where others have failed. Olivia was very helpful in getting us a mortgage after the initial advisors we went with couldn't get us one due to our status.
I will recommend her and Clearly to anyone especially FTBs. I was initially sceptical due to the previous rejection but she was confident, encouraging and professional and most importantly she delivered!

First folks I called re my contractor mortgage, Olivia sorted everything out and given I was only in a contract for 2 months at the time I was surprised at how easy it was.

Matthew and the team have been amazing, providing great advice and service.
I found Cleerly on a Google search, lenders were only asking for SA302 figures which meant I could only get a certain mortgage amount, as a contractor my earnings don't reflect what are submitted as I keep myself at basic rates of tax, the team managed to annualise my day rate, leading to a significant increase in lending amount, and therefore I was able to make an offer on the property I wanted, I couldn't have done this without Cleerly, so I highly recommened them.

Lewis made the whole process so smooth
FTB using a JBSP mortgage. Found Cleerly online and took a leap of faith - very happy I did so!
My consultant was Lewis who I spent months communicating with gaining advice/information prior to having an offer accepted on a property. Lewis always provided as much information as possible to me even when it was a bit ahead of the game. He is very understanding, has great comms, is very personable and ultimately found and processed a very competitive and appropriate mortgage offer.
Would not hesitate to recommend Cleerly to all friends and family and especially Lewis as a Mortgage consultant.

Lewis, you absolute star!!
First time buyers here - My partner is a contractor and I am on Maternity leave. We've had difficulties with high street Mortgage advisors who can't understand my partner's income streams. We found Cleerly online and went with them, given the high ratings (which was clearly the best decision!)
Lewis is very personable, empathetic & hard working advisor. He is thorough and pays attention to detail. He has excellent communication skills, responding promptly with helpful advice in plain speak. He listened to our needs, providing timeframes for responses which he worked within.
He understands complex financial information whilst being very competent with mortgage deals.
Lewis took the stress out of of arranging a mortgage, which was approved! Owning our own home will honestly change our little family's life. We didn't know it would ever happen!

We approached Cleerly following a previous mortgage advisor ghosting us after application, we explained our current situation with Dil who we were assigned and he was amazing from start to finish - Explained the process thoroughly, gave set timescales, answered our questions and helped every step of the process. The best by far
Cleerly were so professional and efficient from start to finish. As a contractor, I wasn't sure I would get a mortgage but the due diligence from Matthew and Simon meant the process was a lot less stressful and I was approved for the mortgage I needed. Even after my mortgage was approved, they continued to check in with me throughout the process. They are pragmatic and realistic and manage expectations at all times. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
At the start of my process, another broker had been recommended to me. They were not responsive and as it turned out, they didn't know what to do for contractors. My recommendation is to save yourself the hassle and just go with Cleerly.

1st class service once again......
Matthew Long was recommended to me 3 years ago when my first contractor mortgage fell short on my requirement's. He stepped in at the 11th hour and using his contacts and market knowledge had a offer on the table within days, which I duly accepted. Regarding my current re-mortgage which is more complex, Matthew has once again hit the mark and has secured a mortgage offer that exceeded my expectations. Excellent and professional service from a broker who knows the markets, friendly and polite but above all he listens to your needs and delivers.
