Definitely do not buy the premium version of Cline. When I first created an account on cline.bot, the trial worked well, so I assumed the premium version would offer the same experience. I ended up purchasing a full year of premium, and that was a mistake.

After upgrading, I realized how restrictive the service actually is. Every 5 hours, I could only use their AI for about 10 minutes before hitting a 5‑hour rate limit. Then I had to wait another 5 hours just to use it again for another 10 minutes.

After two or three days, I would hit the weekly limit and be locked out for an entire week. Then, after two or three weeks, the monthly limit would activate, blocking me until the next month — all within the same billing month.

In reality, you get around 10 minutes of usage every 5 hours, which makes the premium plan practically useless. I absolutely do not recommend paying for Cline AI. It does not deliver what it promises and is not worth the money.

this tool is a scam, creating errors, which then you are charged to fix. This tool has completly sabotaged my work including things like using wrong keystore to sign my apps, deleting code intentionally, changing code unnesasarily
