Very good psychiatrist and very insightful.

Dr. Joe is young, competent, flexible, open minded and supportive, great qualities for a psychiatrist to have.

However, his clinic administration is less than acceptable, simply because they are inaccessible: Emails are not replied to; urgent queries are not answered urgently; there is no contact by phone or whatsapp, etc. We never know when something will be resolved.

They are specialists in neurodivergency, but cannot offer any previsibility, which is completely counterproductive (and further damaging) for neurodivergent people going through anxiety/depression treatments.

I had a medication review scheduled for mid-December (2025). My appointment was rescheduled twice because they were having system issues, which they have communicated.

However, on the new proposed time and date nobody showed up for my appointment. There were no follow up emails apologising, explaining what happened or any attempts to reschedule it. I wrote several emails inquiring, and then complaining, but there were no replies.

The main issue was that I had no further prescriptions at the pharmacy, and my medication cannot simply be interrupted. It was right before the end of the year holidays, and I had only a few pills left. Anxiety, which was already bad, went through the roof.

I had to search for a different doctor last minute (end of the year holidays, remember that), pay for a second appointment in order to have a new prescription sent to the pharmacy- and I was lucky to have found one!

It is 13th of January, and I am still waiting for any kind of response and a refund for the appointment that was paid online, previous to the consultation.

Although I like Dr. Joe very much and I am grateful for his support, not be able to access him when I need something urgent is enough a reason to leave a bad review of his clinic, specially because it is not the first time. Issues like these have been happening for too long, delaying my treatment because the impact on my mental health has been partially negative, consistently.
