This company is not to be trusted, their warranty is worthless and their customer service is highly unprofessional, my experience with them has been very frustrating. I own a Hydrology9 NX and I regret ever buying it. Good design, well thought but bad quality, mine stopped working after only 6 months of normal use. I had to practically beg them to send a replacement unit even though their warranty is 2 years. They only agreed to send one if I paid $50 for shipping. I paid for shipping because when it works, it is a good device. But their logistic department messed up the address, it got lost in the mail and it never arrived. They refuse to send a replacement and now they don't even answer emails.

Quirky annoyances like the ridiculous shape of the heating chamber aside, the design is clever. However, it relies on the ball bearing valve and the water jacket seals functioning. The water jacket on my unit leaks slowly regardless of how firmly it is closed. The ball bearing allows water to enter the mouthpiece when the unit is tipped upside down to refill the bowl. The result is a mouthfull of flavoured water on the first pull.
It is too efficient at refining the vapour. The vapour is thin and lacks flavour. It does deliver results, but not a memorable experience.

I reaally wanted to give this product a better review.
I bought two of them. Both failed.
Customer service was great and replaced both... but the reality is that there is a major design flaw.
It's an expensive purchase so it's disappointing.
When it works- it's great. But the problem is it stops working.

Hydrology9 original had several design flaws, one of which was the charger being so high that the cable's weight wears out the internals and won't charge unless you apply upward force. Also used micro USB so it was slow to charge. Also could not replace the battery. This means you are left with a device that doesn't work once the battery is dead since micro USB doesn't charge quick enough.

They sorta fixed this with the NX, they ship a little magnetic adapter and made the batter replaceable with the NX, however still micro USB. Battery is replaceable, but they went with some proprietary enclosure for the battery, and their store is always out, meaning you have to overpay whenever they are available. Oh and you have to empty the water and dry it out everytime you want to replace the battery. I don't know what they do to their batteries, but I've used this thing probably 15 times in 6 months and it doesn't hold a charge anymore. I will leave it overnight to charge, and I turn it on to heat up, and it can't even complete a heat cycle without blinking and shutting off.

The Atomic also has micro USB.

The Tectonic9 also uses micro USB. You have to shake this thing constantly to get stuff to come out. I do not recommend. This vibration is trash, not strong enough to move the material most of the time.

Customer support is abismal. I have to schedule a meeting to talk to someone? Email support can't be bothered to type up instructions and defers you to phone support, which again is abismal.

This company has great ideas that are poorly executed. Do not trust them.

Thought it was a great product...in time the device became fully corroded - unusable. The chrome covering the magnet in the cap failed, the magnet got really rusty, and now there appears to be corrosion throughout the device. Its only a year old, thought it would last longer. Reached out to the company but no response so far.

OK let me make this really simple, if there were a 10 star rating I would give it without hesitation. I puff daily and only vape. The C9 is my 4th vape. The C9 will bless the owner, and I mean bless, with the cleanest and purest vaping experience known to humanity. The engineering is without peer and the customer service puts Apple, where I used to work, to shame. For example when I had a minor issue with the mouthpiece, before I asked for anything they asked me if I was still at the same address, and if so if I would mind if they would send me a new one on the house. Who does that in 2018? Stop what you are doing and treat yourself to anything this company makes.
