Email requests sent to CMA CGM are being ignored.
This is not the first time CMA CGM showed such poor performance and lack of professionalism. Extremely disappointed with CMA CGM's poor service.
Worst Line For UK Imports
Staff routinely lie to you over status of release process. They don't communicate ANYTHING that may be required from your end. You have to chase everything. UK staff are not actually the release team, the release team have no phone number. UK team cannot action releases at all. They message India to get them to do it.
You are a HOSTAGE for CMA CGM, Not a Customer
They will never clearly inform what documents they need.
Most of the documents they trouble for is not required by the government. They take it for themselves.
Every day, they will ask for a New Document and keep charging you for the warehouse. And the next day a New Document.
They also do not clearly inform the Format of the document.
In case there is any mistake, they will just tell about that particular thing. After fixing that issue, they will find another mistake and again ask you to fix.
The mistakes would have never occurred in the first place if they clearly told us what they needed with the Sample Documents.
They accept documents only from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm, just a 6-hour window including lunch.
So that even if you miss to submit document for a day, they will charge you more.
That too, they will inform wrong timings initially.
They need the Physical Document delivered at their office.
I cannot just count all the nuisance they create and all the trouble they will cause.
Never Ever Use them.
Use another shipping line even if the cost is 25-30% higher.

The worst - by far!
My car was shipped from Florida to North Africa. I chose to send my car by itself in a container. However, when it arrived to North Africa and the container was opened, customs found out that the car had no blocks against the tires and the belts tying it up at the sides were barely good for motorcycles (that's what the customs agent told me). This unprofessionalism ended up causing the belts to break and my car to move around and hit the right side (above the rear tire). CMA CGM acknowledged receipt of my claim (with pictures as proof); then decided to ignore me completely until this moment. I fixed my car with my money and didn't get a penny from CMA CGM. STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!

This shipping line has consistently demonstrated a lack of professionalism and courtesy.
All operations seem to be managed from India by people who don't care about customers. They held your containers hostage to charge more demurrage.
CMA-CGM has been unresponsive to emails and has not provided a comprehensive list of "missing" documents to resolve the situation. When you send what they ask for, they say it is not valid or make up some other excuse. Every few days, they require new documentation rather than providing a clear, comprehensive list of their requirements.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

AMAZON trop de problème avec livraisons faites par COLIS PRIVÉ (filiale de CMA CGM)
Amazon a extrêmement régressé depuis ses dernières années car ses partenaires chargés des livraisons comme "COLIS PRIVÉ" , ”LA POSTE COLISSIMO " ...ne tiennent plus du tout leur délai, date de livraison comme convenu lorsque l'on fait un achat sur AMAZON....Les colis ne sont jamais livrés comme convenu lors du paiement sur le site Amazon. Pratiquement 100% de mes commandes n'arrivent jamais à destination que ce soit à domicile ou en Point relais ?!??? Réclamations sur Réclamations chaque semaine car aucuns colis ne m'est livré par "COLIS PRIVÉ"(filiale de la CMA CGM). Cela dure depuis 2 ans et je ne comprends pas QU'AMAZON continue de travailler avec "COLIS PRIVÉ" ???!!!!. Ce sont des Livreurs malhonnêtes et menteurs ! De plus en plus de gens commande sur Cdiscount car ils sont plus fiables pour les livraisons. AMAZON n'est plus ce que c'était...☹️

La peor naviera, te dan una tarifa y van agregando más costos, al final la naviera las barata se convierte en la más cara. Un pésimo servicio logístico. Se tardaron un mes en posicionarme un contenedor, y cuando llegó a puerto, estoy rogándoles para que muevan el contenedor donde mi cliente y ninguno de los ineptos te puede decir algo en concreto, entre la misma empresa te tiran de un lado a otro para que cada empleado se lave las manos y total sigo esperando y pagando multas en aduanas por el retraso de ellos. Sinceramente la peor experiencia recibida. No utilicen esta naviera, recibirán el peor servicio y perderán mucho dinero

Avoid shipping with CMA-CGM , especially from California USA , your container will get to China , then sit idle no movement for 3 wks, you will never be informed when they change delivery Port Vessel arrive at Lekki instead of Tincan Island on BL, it took another 10 days for Barge to move container to another port for delivery. Their website container tracking is never up to date. It took 4 months from Los Angeles to Lagos Nigeria,. Nightmare experience!!!

This can't be a real shipping company. It has to be something else. My order had ETA 20/12/2024. Now it's 10/1/2025 and still not received. Every port they increase extra 3 days. I am almost losing my customers because of them.

Selon amazon, j'attendais un colis hier, et 2 aujourd'hui, Livré par Colis Privé, la filliale CMA CGM. Mon adresse est bonne, mon télephone également, mon portail est ouvert, mon portier fonctionne et enregistre les passages. CP m'informe hier qu'ils n'ont pas pu livrer ("besoin d'informations!!"). Aujourd'hui meme problème. Pas possible de les contacter, réclamation faite.. seule possibilté offerte: livraison le 16 au lieu du 11. Et en relais! AMAZON, pourquoi me demander si livraison à domicile si CP n'est plus en capacité de le faire!

After trying to make a booking for 9 months on a portal that does not work we received a rejection notice suggesting the booking party was wrong
We received 3 emails in Chinese that made no sense about this and no response when we asked why.
A job at CMA must be the absolute best. Get paid to do nothing at all
To top it off we then get a no show and cancelled booking
We will never ever use CMA even if time and price are competitive
