I just love Brulo beer
I just love Brulo beer - I'm actively cutting back on alcohol, and being able to have a Brulo which tastes like beer while still helping me achieve my objectives has been super. I keep Brulo in the fridge for those times I want a drink, but don't want to be "drinking"!
The best AF Beers.... IMHO
After trying a load of AF Beers I discovered the Brulo range and haven't looked back.
I like them all but Lust for Life is my favorite so much so that I have had a subscription for the last few years. I still try other brands but haven't found any I would ditch Brulo for.

Sorry I cannot put a lower rating. They try to suck you in with a 'free next day delivery' offer, which clearly is not accurate, seeing as it was ordered before 2pm on a Sunday you'd have thought it would have at least been dispatched on a Monday and delivered on a Tuesday. Here it is Tuesday evening and still no indication of the order being fulfilled, let alone dispatched! My husband won't be getting a nice birthday extra present as a result and I certainly won't be ordering from them again in the future.

My go to supplier for premium AF beer when I want more than just the supermarket offering. Prices on the higher side but to be expected for quality and taste. You're never going to replace the taste of alcohol in beer but these guys go as far as you can. Try it!

Responded quickly to a query about my AMEX discount. Delivered very quickly. Really good beer. A shame about the small cans though which makes this an expensive choice.

After some hiccups with their customer service department, I experienced excellent service recovery. They made up brilliantly and it was both genuine and generous.
More importantly: Brulo beer is delicious and probably one of the best in the market.

Resolved issues
After posting a one-star review for failing to deliver or then respond to messages, I am updating now that Brulo have made contact and resolved. System failures appear to have created the problems and led to the order being lost, but posting on Trustpilot alerted James and he has fixed it. The beer is fortunately pretty tasty, too.

Customer Services appear non existent
The point of this review is to highlight to anyone who is considering purchasing, should you run into any issues you're unlikely to get any response from the company as either the email is unmanned or they just don't give a damn.
Very disappointed with the lack of communication.
I placed an order via website and within 5 minutes of placing the order I realised I'd made a mistake and requested the order be cancelled via email. I received no reply, chased up the following morning again no reply.
Chased up again this morning again with no reply and have now received my delivery.
I've requested details on how to return and get a refund this morning and still silence.
This is very frustrating as I did request the cancellation almost immediately via the only means of communication they have (email) and clearly they paid no attention, seems a case of once they have your money they don't care about the customer.

Wrong order, but fixed the problem
Ordered online, received the wrong order, emailed 3 times and got no reply. I did get a quick response via Instagram so I would recommend contacting them there as they seem to have some inbox issues. I believe they have now resolved the issues experienced and look forward to trying the beer.

It's a shame there's been no response from BRULO, despite reaching out by email about a next-day delivery. I ordered 48 alcohol-free lagers to be here Monday and now we're approaching Wednesday and I have no idea where my package is. I have raised this concern with AMEX as this was a cashback offer.
Edit: there's been good and fair communication since the issue has been raised.

Stumbled at first but made it splendidly right quickly!
My original review was ultimately critical - the company somehow lost my order and failed to respond to my follow-up requests.
However, as soon as James Brown, the founder of Brulo, got into the loop, the situation changed dramatically. My order was fixed (and upgraded!) James did prove that he's not only passionate about beer, but also about his company reputation, so I'm delighted to declare that I'm their fan now.
No, there's no second chance to make your first impression, but if you're really committed to your business success and to making your customer happy, there's always a chance to make it right and delight your customer. Thank you, James - here's to Brulo's success!

Staggering
I did find the dreadful service somewhat staggering, particularly when Brulo are keen to showcase the fact that they are apparently rated ‘Excellent’ on Trustpilot.
Having gone on to trustpilot to formulate my experience I realise that I am by no means the only one complaining of slow or non-existent customer service.
In my case the latter applies.
I ordered a total of 108 cans on Monday the 20th so as to give most of the range a decent try.
Within less than 60 minutes I asked my order to be amended to exclude the Helles after getting some feedback from other forums.
Interestingly there is no phone number so as to be able to expedite a given matter.
Therefore I asked for a call as this may be the easiest option all around as I was going to replace these cans with one of their DDH offerings.
Today is Thursday & I still have had no response.
Worse still I know they received my email as the order was cancelled on Monday. DPD kindly advised me of this.
Then I get another email from DPD on Tuesday.
So I am thinking; ‘ok, they obviously don’t want to communicate with me & aren’t bothered about my suggestion of replacing the beer I want to take off the order with something else, but at least they have actioned on removing the Helles off the order, which is why they cancelled original order.’
Order arrives from DPD & to my disbelief they have not amended the order, charged me the full amount & continued to ignore me.
Another email was sent to Brulo yesterday & of course no reply, which is why I now thought to warm others.
Additionally, the 5 Fruit Gose is not to my liking at all & I am not sure on the audience that would find this appealing, but I guess that’s tough for me as I did order this.

cracking beer from a company with character. Enough said.
Slow customer service but rectified DPD the real culprits!
Dreadful customer service! several emails over 5 days and nothing! My order not delivered DPD say "returned to sender" only they know why, no non delivery note. Asked for redelivery or refund still nothing from Brulo Ordered on 30th Sept 2024 some much for 5 day "promise" Cant get my beer, cant get my money back, cant phone them...The worst company I have ever dealt with and I'm retired.............
UPDATED 11th Oct Ok the real culprit here has turned out to be DPD! The original parcel has been damaged in transit unbeknown to me but DPD were dreadful in all of this , they failed to communicate with me plus once again about the parcel etc I could not talk to a person or email and their webchat was not working....
I have updated my rating of Brulo who provided a swift replacement parcel now recieved and all ok. My comments about customer service delays and no contact numbers still stand. Brulo need to improve.
