Low quality, their underwriting team lacks the ability to read financial statements.
I'd learn how to run a marathon to get as far away from this company as possible. Predatory rates, and very stringent on providing capital - even with the outrageous terms. Continues to reach out to me even though I told them I wouldn't be going through with their "best" offer.

Thank you for surfacing your concerns.
You started your journey by searching for a business loan on Google and arriving at our company. The ad that you clicked on clearly stated “Must be an established business generating at least $200K in annual revenue.” Upon review of the bank statements provided, your business is generating between $5K and $18K in deposits per month, which is below our typical requirements.
Despite this, we were still able to secure approval for two different programs including a business line of credit. While your rates were certainly higher than our company’s average, predatory as a descriptor isn’t a fair assessment. Qualifications are a key driver of cost as is funding amount. When you are dealing with low funding amounts ($6,700 on one program and $10K on the LOC which is the lowest limit we offer), the “rate” or cost as a percentage of funded amount will be higher.
To address being stringent on providing capital, yes, we are conservative and proud of it. Your request was for $50K over a 12-month structure. Unfortunately, providing $50K to a business with average cash on hand of $2,425 is not a prudent underwriting decision. Coast is committed to guiding clients to responsible decisions and that means not overextending the business or providing amounts that are unsustainable. We want to set clients up for success, not overload them with a structure they can’t support.
Lastly, to address our ability to read financial statements, yes, we did struggle with yours as you took pictures in the front seat of your car rather than uploading PDF versions, so that was a bit challenging.
Coast Funding is a boutique source. When most people hear "alternative" they think high risk or high rates. Coast is neither. Our client base consists of established businesses with strong cash flow, clean financials, and a track record that supports the capital they're requesting. That selectivity is a feature, not a flaw — it's why our clients receive structures that are genuinely competitive, real underwriting attention, and a partner invested in their long-term growth rather than just a transaction. Not every business is the right fit, and that's by design.
We wish you the best in your search, and hope you find a product that fits where your business is today. Once you explore the market further, you will likely realize our offers were a blessing rather than offensive as you feel today.
