So I have found out why Coconut is pursuing leagal action. Coconut was the broker of the deal with Garden Funding, so they wanted a fee of $1,985.00. Coconut never sent a ACH form nor did they contact me about this fee, they just filed a court proceeding. The $1,985.00 fee is now over $10,000.00 because of what they are calling a breach of contract. No wounder Coconut didn't want to talk to me. I had not a clue I owed Coconut a fee for them finding a money provider. Again, anyone that has had a bad dealing with Coconut needs to expose this company for what they are. CON Artist. If any small business is looking for a MCA, stay far far away from this company. Again, read all the negative reviews, they far out weigh the positive reviewes. We will see them in court.

I took a MCA and the broker was Coconut funding the funding came from Garden Funding. We had a customer write a bad check and then we had fraud occur. We stayed in contact with both parties. Coconut filed a breach of contract on 09/01/2026, so I called Garden Funding and they HAD NOT A CLUE WHAT Coconut was doing. I called Coconut and spoke to Coconut was very rude and only would say talk to the laywer. I would have to say Garden and Coconut are one of the same. I would not recomend ANY SMALL BUSINESS have anything to do with these two companies. PAY ATTENTION TO ALL REVIEWS ON GOOGLE, BETTER BUSINESS and any other sites that have reviews on Coconut and GARDEN Funding. If anyone has bad reviews PLEASE POST THEM, this company needs to be exposed.

Coconut Funding filed a default despite the fact that I never borrowed any funds from them. There’s no contract on file which is confusing as to why a Judge would file a default judgment. I never took any money from them. They are a total scam. Once I find a lawyer that has the courage to take them on, I’ll be exposing them to the highest power.

REVISED 07/30/2026

This morning I logged into my bank account to reconcile my account for the month and realized that on July 24, 2026 one month after the account was paid off in full. Coconut Funding started doing with drawls from my account. I had sent the CEO of Coconut Funding a request on June 26, 2026 for a zero balance letter. I never received a letter only another email stating that I will of $1059.00. At that time I asked for a statement on where he claimed the $1059.00 was owed, I never received the statement until this morning when I sent a cease letter and forwarded a copy of the letter to my bank and the New York State Attorney Generals office Fraud Division. It is still unclear why the additional 1059.00 came from since the account has now been over paid by $6025.00.

Interesting that Coconut Funding is asking for more information with name and phone number. Amazing how they know you when they want your money. I have been a client of Coconut Funding for over 10 years and had a great relationship with Coconut Funding until I asked if they could reduce the fees which appeared to be excessive. At that time things changed drastically. It became unprofessional in the tone and manner of communication. On 06/26/2026, I submitted a payoff for the balance and sent a confirmation of the wire and asked for a zero balance letter. They continue to debit my account and refuses to respond to me via phone calls, emails or text messages any further. This is not how two businesses do business after over ten years and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.

Coconut has funded me a few times when needed. Response time is timely and the process was easy. Jack and his team will work with you to ensure the best customer experience.

This company is an absolute scam. We had used coconut funding in the past and they did secure us a loan. This time they had supposedly secured ore funding, which never came through. They pulled 950.00 out of our bank account claiming it was the fees for the loan. They never had the authorization to pull money at all. And now they are refusing to return the funds after telling us the ach refund process was already started. Will be reporting through the proper channels and doing what we have to. This company is a joke stay away

At Coconut Eden and Jason have excellent customer services, hopefully throughout application. Friendly and respectful.

These people are an absolute FRAUD!! It seems they are forcing others to leave good reviews. RUN PEOPLE RUN!! the great deal they gave me would have ran my business into the ground. Im glad I didnt accept it. But now I have to watch my bank account scared they will try and take money from me even tho I didnt sign. AGAIN, RUN RUN RUN
