Helpful and Professional
I had a very good experience with Commercial trust. This is my third property that they dealt with and I am glad that they always work in a professional manner. Their staff is always there to help. Don’t waste your time useless
Waste of time, the advisor told me they will sort a DIP within minutes of doing verification of personal circs etc. One week later still waiting not heard anything sent email and phone and the advisor always in the phone. In the meantime lost the property as the estate agent thought I was blagging them The advisors do not know what they are doing and tell you lies they cannot do anything between them useless company stay away!!!

Excellent professionals to work with.
Amy was fisrt point of contact at Commercial Trust.
Amy was so helpful & found the best buy-to-let mortgage that suited our needs.The % rate was also better than any product we could find.
We were then handed onto Jack who guided us expertly through the whole process.
Jack was very professional & constantly kept on our case file to push the deal through.
I will definatley be using Commercial Trust in the future.
Wish I had found them years ago. 10/10

Money for Nothing - Don't Pay Upfront!
Shocking. They recommend a mortgage company and take their fees upfront. They have no accountability for the company and do not care once they have been paid. In my case the Surveyor failed to find the property twice resulting in a lost purchase and abortive legal costs that I had to pay. This seems to happen a lot based on other reviews so find a broker that you pay only on a successful mortgage offer. Commercial Trust refuse to take any responsibility for their recommendation and refuse to refund you the fees. Do not use this unethical company!
Bill, I have seen your reply. You still accept no responsibility or accountability for the 3rd party that you recommended? I paid you monies therefore for nothing, no mortgage offer and I am therefore out of pocket. Why should you be paid for this and hide behind it, its just wrong!

Thank you for your further comments regarding the service provided, it’s always important that we receive feedback and act upon it, to ensure we deliver the high standard of service that we wish to achieve.
Please note, we have conducted a full investigation with regard to the process followed and the service provided to you. We did not find any evidence to suggest that Commercial Trust created any issues, delays and or could have prevented the issue of the valuation not taking place. We have sent a complaint to the valuer on your behalf, as this is the reason you have lost out on the purchase property. The valuer has 8 weeks in order to reply, as set out by the Financial Conduct Authority.
We do take full accountability for recommending the right lender for our clients, but during the process of purchasing a property there are certain things out of our control as a broker. We explain our process from first contact with a client and we are open and honest every step of the way. We would never submit an application without full agreement or authority to do so.
The conclusion of the complaint investigation is not that there wasn’t an issue, it established that the issues involved we could not have had any control over. However as stated above, there is still a third party complaint in with the valuer which we are awaiting a response.

This, and the confirmation we provided that your concerns regarding the surveyors have been raised with the lender, explains the barriers faced on your application appear to be as a result of poor service from the surveyors instructed by the lender, not Commercial Trust.
We could not have foreseen this at the time the mortgage recommendation or application were made.

They have really poor communication and have made errors with my money which for a mortgage broker is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Wow, utmost professionalism
What can I say, utmost professionalism from start to finish.
The first person I dealt with was Raf and he was so helpful and knowledgeable. He assisted me in getting my agreement in principle and was always warm and friendly when I called.
Once my offer was accepted, my case manager was Ella. Wow, what a true gem she is. Excellent communication through out and absolute determination to get to completion despite significant delays from other parties. Always approachable and would go out of her way to help and explain things at every stage.
I cannot thank Raf and Ella enough, they have made my dreams of becoming a land lady a reality.

Absolutely brilliant service
Absolutely brilliant service! Everything (except the witnessing of the mortgage deed - I popped next door to my neighbour and the posting of the witnessed deed at my local Post Office) was done by phone, text, or email.
Jamie my adviser was superb and went back time and time again researching the best product and I was not an easy customer! I think he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.
I would recommend unreservedly this company and will use them again when my present fixed 5 year deal expires to remortgage again. The fees were all very reasonable - remembering that nobody works for nothing!
