I purchased several eSIMs from ConnectPls, and my experience has been quite disappointing. I bought a new eSIM on July 26, 2025, for nearly £60 (after discount £38.35), but it has been over 9 hours and I still haven’t received activation or any clear response from their customer support.
Previously, I also purchased eSIMs for April-May and May-June, but didn’t use them because my boss had no business in Europe during those months. I’ve contacted their support multiple times, but they refuse to activate the new eSIM, claiming unpaid invoices from previous purchases—even though the old eSIMs were never used.
Their customer service is very slow and unprofessional, which is frustrating because my boss needs the connection urgently for work travel.
If you’ve had similar problems, be careful. I hope ConnectPls improves their service to be more responsive and transparent.
1) Delivery issues
2) Unexpeceted charges with a Sim Card Europe Plus which I never activated. It's still packed and I'm still out of Europe. Requested moneyback - will update this review soon.
3) Lies in the receipt: that say "Your free trial with Connected Destinations Limited started on July 15, 2025 and ended on July 23, 2025."
The truth is - I paid 59 GPB for the first month already when bought the SIM card.
4) Pretty decent email support
after ~3 hours they replied:
"Your subscription has started at the delivery day of the simcard. It has been activated and the subscription has been counted as started. But since you have stated that the simcard is not been used. We will check it and will refund the second payment. "
So they activate simcard without the simcard been used at all.
My overall experience with ConnectPls is bad.
Let' s see how fast reversal would be (they charged me today 23.07.2025 at ~4.02 am)
Refund receipt was issued at 23.06.2025 8:17 PM - I saw an email arrived. Still waiting to see it reflected in my bank account balance...
25.06.2025 - still waiting for actual refund (((
strangely refund appeared on 23.07.2025
but my bank did not shown that until 28th.
5) I already asked to pause my subscription for 2 months till September 2025 - they informed me about the option - this should be initiated and confirmed with support.
And I don't see any information reflecting my current subscription status on their billing portal - the only place where you can login to see your charges and bank cards info (billing.stripe.com)
The Connection Quality the fact that is nearly unlimited with 400GB abroad and the Swissroaming is great. Well done

Hi, I have been looking for a long time for an Internet with a lot of Internet and a good price for all of Europe, including the UK and I finally found it, I have been using it for several months and I am happy with the quality of the Internet and the ease of contact with customer service, they can solve any problem in the blink of an eye. I really recommend it.

Remained connected in all countries we travelled through in our Campervan which uses the SIM in a Huawei MyFi system. (France/Corsica, Luxemburg, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria). Speed typically between 30-49 mbs subject to local mobile coverage, 1-4 MPs in difficult mountainous/rural areas

After 4gb drops to 0.5mbps so having to use my uk allowance at a cost of £2.00 per day so it's cost me £30 plus the £59.99 that i paid for internet anytime anywhere as a lorry driver I need uninterrupted internet on a positive side customer service is great

Update: after 5 days and asking for money back I finally received a QR code and it works, but no 5G so far..
Careful!! Their eSIM service seems to be a scam! I paid 4 days ago and the money was deducted from my credit card, but I never received a QR code! I asked customer service and they said 3 days ago they’d look into it and send asap. Still haven’t received any reaction, nor QR code. I am curious if I’ll ever get my money back! Don’t do it!
I use this service since 2024 and its worth every penny. Make 90-200GB abroad with them they use an EE-Businessesim. I am really satisfied with it:)

My SIM card had to be changed 3 times in less than 6 months, with all the logistics issues of finding a delivery address each time as I am travelling full time. The team is quick to answer e-mails, but the explanations given to explain the issues are at best obscure and, most of the time, don't make a lot of sense (i.e. there was supposedly a problem with "the network around" when the SIM card refused to work, but my phone was picking up a 5G signal at that time...). The new (third) SIM card seems to work now... Let's see for how long...

ConnectPls provides excellent data SIM cards for EU travel. I started with an e-sim activated quickly, and later switched to unlimited 5G. The service worked flawlessly during extended trips in Spain and France, and their team was very helpful with any issues. Reliable coverage, even in remote areas—highly recommended for travelers!

Great service used a few times. Once you have downloaded the qr code it is straight forward from there and you can forget about it. Very reliable all over Europe.

Never had a problem with company, probably one of the best in the market .
Always good connection, no matter in what country we are ....some in EU, Switzerland, or Albania, Turkey...coverage for 4 devices , just easy 👌 24 hours assistance, literally work immediately, very good team skills 👍. Defenetly recommended. See you soon again 🫶

I can honestly say that this is the best mobile router we've ever had. The coverage is fantastic, even in rural Spain/Portugal where we're currently travelling in our campervan. We've used other mobile routers and they were no where near as good as this one, nor was the coverage. Excellent customer service too. Can't recommend highly enough.

I’ve used a ConnectPls unlimited data SIM card now since August 24 in the UK, Holland, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal and have experienced decent coverage so far in pretty much every location. The cost is not inconsequential but to have true unlimited data without any geographic or calendar restrictions is worth it for my use. The SIM provides good coverage for all our internet browsing needs, navigation via Google Maps and CarPlay as well as streaming services like iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon.

I signed up for a SIM & was charged 14 Oct 2024. The SIM did not arrive until 3 Nov 2024 due to numerous issues with delivery, even though their website says 2-3 days. On 28 Nov 2024, it stopped working for the 1st time, this time in France. Connect+ said it was a technical issue & it had to be reset. On 8 Dec 2024, it stopped working a 2nd time, this time in Italy. Connect+ said they had to "refresh the network." It stopped again 24 Dec 2024. This was with a new (& much more expensive) mifi router I bought in case the router was the issue. Connect+ said it had to be refreshed again. They also said they were transitioning to a new provider & needed an address to send the new SIM to. I travel to a new location almost daily, so I had to guess where I might be anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks considering the 1st delivery took 12 days.In the meantime, the SIM did not work at all, even though Connect+ said they were resetting it. I picked up the new SIM (provider O2) on 17 Jan 2025. It has yet to work. Connect+ kept saying they were waiting for the provider to update it. I gave up on 21 Jan 2025 & made my 1st request for a refund for Oct and Nov 2024 charges. Then Connect+ said the O2 SIM would begin working 1 Feb 2025. Before 1 Feb, on 27 Jan 2025, Connect+ said they needed to send me a new SIM - my 3rd card since the end of Oct 2024! I again requested a refund, this time on 3 Feb 2025. Connect+ said they forwarded my request to accounting and will keep me updated. I specifically needed a SIM, as I use a Vodafone Portugal e-SIM and a US e-SIM in my iPhone already & wanted a SIM that would work throughout Europe in my mifi router. Connect+ market their service specifically for people who travel, in my case, throughout Europe. I spent more time communicating with Connect+ WhatsApp customer service than the SIM actually worked. There is couple who travel in their van (as I do) who have posted online about how terrific the service works. It is my belief they are sponsored by Connect+, hence the positive reviews.
The first SIM card I received from ConnectPls didn’t work, and I only noticed a day before our trip from UK into Europe. I was a little frustrated but problems happen from time to time, and for me it’s all about how the company reacts to such events. ConnectPls were brilliant, going out of their way to arrange special delivery to an address in remote France that I could pick it up from in 48hrs on the way to Spain. The SIM card has worked perfectly ever since. Ghada in particular was extremely helpful

I have been using this for few months now, and it works amazing, there were few issues in the beginning, but the customer service was amazing and helped me via whatsapp. They also provided truly unlimited data with no caps, which is amazing.
overall, definitely recommend this to people traveling around

I have never seen that quick assistance when needed. So proffessional and helpful at the same time, so quick. And datawise, there is no place in all Europe where we have used it when we didn't find a way to be connected.
