Connex are amazing!! Maya is lovely she sorted my application very quickly chasing up references etc. Always got back to me really quick and Jemma is so lovely helped me get work in the school I wanted and have gained a permanent full time job as teaching assistant after 2 months of being with them. So pleased with their support.

I give two stars as the recruitment team was good at contact replied to my emails/calls and the training online is too but once I was recruited and "on the books" it just went silent 3 weeks of me calling every other day at 9am or emailing stating i am available every friday (i reply to a email my recruiter sends everyone) to be told they will call me back or they have work lined up for me I was promised loads of work and they have no clue who you are you tell them your name and ring back few minutes later and they forget youve spoken to them. Was on the books since March but due to other commitments started offically first week of April and I've not had 1 call, its so fustrating "first week back is always quiet" unsure what excuse they could use now as I have gave up 5 weeks after no work and started looking elsewhere for work.

My whole experience from enquiring about signing up to receiving my first assignment was stress free and easy to navigate. This company really cares about you and is not just motivated by the ££££s, which has not been my experience with agencies in the past. In particular, I have been made to feel very welcome and valued by Chloe Carberry, Emma Cairns and Neil Rintoul who have always made sure that I am clear about what is expected - so I can make an informed choice - and comfortable with each assignment; checking in with me on a regular basis. I'm looking forward to working with Connex for the foreseeable future.

Having recently registered with Connex. I am so impressed with how quickly and professionally they dealt with my registration in particular Kelsie Jackson. Kelsie has been exceptional all the way through. she kept me up to date requesting documents and information a lot ong the way. Thank you Kelsie

I highly recommend this agency for its exceptional professionalism and friendliness. My consultant Hayley was outstanding, providing prompt and informative responses throughout my application process. She demonstrated remarkable efficiency in coordinating work assignments, ensuring I received comprehensive support every step of the way. The agency also offered numerous valuable and free training sessions that significantly contributed to my job performance and personal growth.

My first job assignment was a success, thanks in large part to their guidance. Furthermore, Neil followed up with me afterwards to offer additional support and inform me about further training opportunities that could benefit my career. I am deeply appreciative of their assistance. Collaborating with them has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

A really positive experience. The training is very good and CPD offered. Scott is great, Always on hand supportive,but not pushy, I have been offered plenty of work local to me. This is my first time working for a company like this and I’m very impressed.

The experience so far has been very positive. Onboarding was streamlined and straightforward and the placements have been a good fit. I've been particularly impressed by the pro-active approach of my point person, Scott. He has been extremely communicative and helpful from the get go.

Connex agency in birmingham is an amazing company to work for not only did Amy and hardeep find me my dream job in an amazing school they are helping me to grow in my career I am now doing my level 2 sen I can't thank u both enuff x

Avoid the liverpool office. They wasted more than 3 months trying to register me and also charged me for a dbs even though I had one with an updated service. They kept on asking the same documents several times and did not communicate with me during the process. I tried to ring them several times and they either hung up quite rudely or refused to address the issue. The staff members are rude, lazy and incompetent. After finally registrating, they never contacted me or did anything to help me find a job. Its a terrible company and all the 5 star reviews you see on google are paid. Do yourself a favour and find other agencies in Liverpool. There are way better options available.

I recently had a less-than-satisfactory experience with Connex Education Partnership Ltd. My primary concerns revolve around the lack of consistent employment opportunities, communication issues, and numerous setbacks in the registration process.

Firstly, despite passing all necessary compliance requirements to work, I faced prolonged periods without any job assignments. This inconsistency in job placements created financial stress and job insecurity.

Communication with the agency was another significant issue. It was challenging to get timely responses, updates on potential job placements, or clarify expectations. This lack of transparency and open communication only added to my frustration.

Moreover, there were apparent gaps in the registration process, causing substantial delays in securing employment. These setbacks hindered my ability to maintain a stable income and negatively affected my overall job satisfaction.

In conclusion, my experience with Connex Education was disappointing due to the issues mentioned above. While I appreciate the opportunities I had, I ultimately decided to terminate my contract with the agency in search of a more reliable and communicative employment solution.

I hope Connex Education Partnership Ltd. takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving their services for future candidates.

Cannot recommended the Connex Education office in Liverpool. I have the best time working for this company since the beginning of January. Was always provided with adequate and accommodating work each week as well as consistent payments each Friday which was amazing.

Really excellent supply agency (London), friendly efficient staff, smooth payments etc, no random charges through pay company, has cpd courses online. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to continuing to work with them.

The liverpool office staff are unprofessional and have no work ethics (especially Jp and the office manager H) Avoid at all costs! They rip you off with the day rate without telling you. They only communicate via text message. They don't speak to or treat you very nice, given they can cancel an assignment on you at any given time with no explanation, but if you cancel one and only one you are unreliable and don't have good morals. Then they threaten you with your P45 coming in the post! Says in their terms and conditions that you are within your rights to cancel an assignment. Avoid the liverpool office at all costs they will make you ill and stress you out. Register with Sam at Warrington instead. She is lovely and very welcoming. I would not work another day for the incompetent Liverpool office!
This could be improved by hiring staff that have a good telephone manner. Ones that are professional and know their own terms and conditions. Threatening people with their P45 is not the way to run a successful business.

AVOID - I joined this agency for a very specific job they put me through hoops which is normal completing forms references etc and then they told me I was clear to work but I didn’t hear anything so I had to assume they hadn’t been honest about the job. So I carried on with my other agency then out of the blue she phones up says the jobs ready makes me and offer and I think I’m starting on the Monday (this all happened the Friday) my current agency thankfully told me that they only applied for references that day!! So they completely lied to me claiming they had it when they hadn’t even applied. They are incompetent. I ended up loosing the job whilst they messed around getting references.

All in all they’ve wasted not only my time but those that had to write a reference for me avoid this agency they real are rubbish and dishonest. Also they were very very nasty about my current agency who have been nothing but amazing.

AVOID this agency. I've worked with different agencies and I had never had any issues until I decided to register with this one. They are LIARS. When I registered with them, I told them not to contact my references until there was something confirmed and they agreed. They talked to me about a possible job in a school - it was exactly what I was looking for and they were talking to the school. A few days later, I got an email saying that the job had been confirmed so they would contact my references - I agreed and they did. It sounded strange to me as I hadn't had any interview or trial day but if they had talked to the school and say that it's confirmed, why shouldn't I believe them? I still have the email they sent me where clearly says that that job was confirmed. I went through a very difficult time and had to go abroad but I came back on time to start the new job (apparently in March). When I contacted them, nothing had been confirmed and my file still hadn't been cleared for work! It's unbelievable how unprofessional they are. Just a few days later, I got another job for 3 months - obviously not through them. A couple of months later as my contract was coming to an end, I contacted them again to see if they had something available... My surprise was that my file still wasn't cleared for work and they needed proof of NIN (which I had sent months ago!) What do they do with the documents they receive from candidates? And on top of that they needed another reference. They don't even have my file cleared after months and they need another reference? They are a joke.

If you're thinking about registering with an agency, think twice before registering with them. There are many good agencies out there.

I have recently joined Connex Education and I am so glad I did, I received supply jobs instantly! Such an amazing, supportive agency, I am so glad I can say I am part of it.

Birmingham- one of the best agencies for teaching by far. Consistent work and continuous support from staff.

I have had negative experiences with other agencies but Amy & Sereena always manage to find work that is suitable and get straight to the point in terms of assignment details and pay.

The gentleman on the phone always answers promptly and provides answers as soon as possible to any queries.

One of the biggest benefits is that they pay directly therefore no umbrella fees and are transparent with pay calculations.

Overall, this agency has been a life saver and I'd recommend anyone looking for supply or tutoring roles to sign up.
