At first I thought the Coolzy worked…
At first, I thought the Coolzy worked relatively well at directing cool air. Unfortunately, the air in the room is heated simultaneously, so overall, you end up with a hotter room. I ordered the tail to address this issue (although I agree with other users that this accessory should have been included from the start). The tail is horrible. It is made of cheap plastic, incredibly difficult to assemble, and the hose will not stay attached at either end without a substantial amount of duct tape. Because the hose is an uninsulated plastic, it still releases heat into the room. I complained to Coolzy about the quality and performance of the tail, and they said there were no refunds. I'm stuck with something that looks like a bad DIY project that doesn't work all that well.
The response from Coolzy is wholly inadequate. I do not need a condescending lecture on thermodynamics, nor is an explanation of how the tail should (but doesn't) work at all helpful. I reached out to Coolzy several times regarding these issues; my concerns were dealt with just as dismissively.

To clarify, the warmth you’re feeling in the room isn’t caused by the Coolzy generating heat. According to the laws of thermodynamics, heat can't be destroyed, only transferred. The Coolzy draws in warm air, removes the heat and focuses the cooling effect directly on you. At the same time, it moves the extracted heat out the back of the unit. If that warm air isn’t vented properly out of the room, it will accumulate and make the space feel hotter overall.
The Tail is designed to solve this by directing the warm air outside through a window or doorway. It’s important that it’s installed securely to prevent leaks. If the hose is loose or unsealed, performance will be reduced.

Must-have in a hot city
I love this thing! I live in SoCal and it gets very hot in the summers. Lots of old residential infrastructure, too, so not only are A/C's not guaranteed but also the insulation to protect apartments from overheating is non-existent. I got the coolzy because despite having a large and powerful portable a/c, I just couldn't keep the temperature down enough for me to be cool on the days where it gets hot. Now with my coolzy I just park it next to me wherever i'm at and I'm enveloped in a lovely bubble of cool air. If you're like me and are sensitive to high temperatures you'll absolutely love it. get it!

Great for small office
This is a great way to cool a small office. I have an office/warehouse with little to no insulation in Atlanta, GA and it gets very hot, especially in the back where my sales manager sits. The Coolzy really helps cool his area down.

Hi Jeremy, it looks like you didn't purchase the appropriate accessory for your use-case. For use in RVs the Long Tail is required. This is stated in several locations on our website. This product doesn't cool anything
This product doesn't cool anything and just blows somewhat cool air directly at you. It does absolutely nothing to cool a room and unless you are within 4 feet directly in front of it, it does nothing. Complete waste of money.

**UPDATE**
Unit returned at my own expense and I’ve been chasing for weeks now on when I’d get my refund but comms from company are non existent.
Hopefully this update will get some action going.
*** WARNING AVOID IF PURCHASING IN UK ***
Requires a converter plug for UK (which is not provided) and for cost of unit you’d expect more.
Plus when adding it to cart there is no warning mention that plug is EU design.
Received unit very quickly via DPD courier.
I switched on unit (with a converter plug I had) and it cut off after a couple of minutes.
Customer service very very poor.
Will be returning unit at my own expense back to their warehouse in Netherlands and they have cheek to say they might charge me additional cost on inspecting unit.

Hi Daxa,
We state that the unit is supplied with an EU Type C plug. This information is on our product page for both the Coolzy-Pro and Coolzy-Go. It is unfortunate that you didn't see this prior to purchase.
Regarding the return of the unit from the UK, unfortunately it is much more difficult to facilitate returns since the UK left the EU. We wish it wasn't but we'll work with you to make it happen.
As for the cost of inspection, we don't appollogise as we need to be sure that the machine is in good working order when we receive it. It's because the machine contains R290 refrigerant gas which is flammable. This gas must stay in the completely sealed environment inside the machine. It is a matter of safety for our warehouse staff and customers. We're not inferring that you have damaged the machine, but that the machine might get damaged in transit. We think this is reasonable.
Alternatively, you could use a plug adaptor to use the machine in the Uk or you could fit a UK plug. Hope that helps.

Pues decepción total
Pues decepción total. Lo primero, me han enviado un aparato que claramente, esta usado, viene con roces, el cable se nora que no viene doblado de fábrica, no trae manual...y encima no enfría nada. Voy a probar a devolverlo, pero por lo que estoy viendo, no es fácil y encima te cobran 100 euros por gastos de gestión y 35 de envío de vuelta, en caso de que consiga devolverlo. Lo dicho, a mi si me parece un timo.
Además las direcciones de correo para solicitar la devolución que están en la página no funcionan, lo que termina de confirmarme que es un timo total.
ACTUALIZACIÓN: Finalmente, despues de pelear lo mio para contactar con ellos, han aceptado que me habían enviado un aparato usado y me han devuelto el dinero. Aunque en el anuncio el aparato tenia buena pinta, para mí la experiencia ha sido para no confiar. Una lástima.

I purchased the Coolzy Pro in late June hoping it would deliver real cooling relief—but the unit has been one of the most disappointing appliances I've ever bought.
Performance Issues
The unit barely cools beyond 2 inches from the nozzle; at that point, it’s more like a loud fan than an air conditioner. Fans in the same space outperform it. In any larger area, it simply can’t compete—even at its $400 price point, you're paying too much for virtually no cooling.
Hidden Accessories & Additional Cost
They insisted I was using it incorrectly and needed to buy a $75 “long tail” venting accessory—which feels like bait-and-switch. That venting tail should have been included in the base unit.
Even with the tail, many users report it doesn’t help much—portable ACs generally under perform without proper venting and still waste energy.
Terrible Customer Service. My request for a refund was immediately denied—despite contacting them the day after delivery—on the grounds that “used units can’t be refunded.” Representatives offered only setup help and photographic proof of positioning, with zero flexibility or goodwill displayed.
Silver Lining
Free shipping was fast and reliable—but that’s the only positive.
Final Verdict
The Coolzy Pro fails at its core function: reliable cooling at a fair price. What you get is an overpriced, under powered fan with poor support and misleading marketing. There are far better, more honest alternatives out there. Do yourself a favor—skip this one and look elsewhere.

The device simply does not work
The device simply does not work. The only way it works if I buy the additional venting system to go out a window. There is no window in the room I am using it in. Hot air blows right back in the room falsely represented in my opinion.

Just to clarify — Coolzy is a personal air conditioner, not a room cooler. It’s designed to create a bubble of cool air around you, not to cool an entire sealed room. We explain this in detail on our website here:

Like all air conditioners, a Coolzy extracts heat from the air and must expel it somewhere — this is basic thermodynamics. If your room has no ventilation and is fully enclosed, the expelled warm air will naturally stay in the room and prevent cooling. In such cases, using our optional "Long Tail" accessory to vent the warm air out of the space is highly recommended — but not required in rooms with open doors or good airflow.
We do our best to be transparent about how Coolzy works and how it’s different from a traditional room AC. It’s unfortunate that your space isn't suitable for the unit without additional venting, but the product is operating correctly as designed.

Coolizi was advertised as an ac unit…
Coolizi was advertised as an ac unit but its no more than a fan. I emailed the company on return process and they got back to me right away. However I would have to pay for return shipping back to Chinawhich would cost just about the same as the product $90.
This product came up when I was searching for American made but it’s actually made in China. Not worth trying to get refund when they make u pay for shipping. This is NOT an ac unit, just a fan!

Hi Daniel, we think you've made a mistake:
1. We have no record of Daniel Cereste making a purchase from our business
2. We do not ask customers to return our product to China. We're based in the USA (in Utah!) so any returns would go there.
3. Our product is one of the highest rated A/C's in the world. If you actually had one, you would feel the cool air.
Please delete this review as it's not for Coolzy. It is for Coolizi which is a completely different business.
