Placed order 10 days ago, then was contacted than merchandise is not in perfect condition. And that's it. I asked for refund, I tried order another purse instead. Nothing. No answer, no refund. Called them- nobody picks up the phone. Seems like I have to go trough the bank with them again.

I purchased two handbags from cosette which i've had independently reviewed. The review concluded the items to be fake. I then provided Cosette with a copy of this information and requested a refund but Cosette claim the items are genuine and are refusing to issue a refund. I have certificates which specify the authentication process and why the items are fake. Cosette have provided no such information, there is no transparency in their authentication process.

If Cosette are purchasing from third parties they can't guarantee the items are genuine. Their claims of selling genuine designer products cannot be trusted.

Over the last couple of years I have bought several items from Cosette and have been very happy with their website; speed of dispatch and packaging of my goods. However at the end of August this year, I purchased a bag from Cosette which I returned by post, the next day, due to my change of mind, which was allowed in their refund policy. The return was done through their official return process and through Auspost tracking, I could see that they subsequently received the bag several days later at the end of August. Despite trying to ring them and sending emails, I didn’t receive any acknowledgement that they had received the bag. I applied for and was given a case ID in September through a generic email but my refund was still denied. Any phone calls were immediately directed to a message telling me that they couldn’t answer my call. I had no further way of contacting them. Fortunately I had paid by PayPal and even though it was now October, I was able to mount a case through Paypal’s resolution centre. Within the week, PayPal had contacted Cosette and I received my refund. I will never order from them again as I believe that if I had paid by credit card, I still wouldn’t have my refund. PayPal will investigate cases up to 6 months from date of purchase. My advice is, don’t order from them if you think you may want to return your item as their return service is deplorable.

I purchased a YSL Camera Bag from Cosette, only to discover it was a counterfeit product. This issue isn't isolated; others have faced the same problem, as reported by several news outlets in July - August 2023.

Cosette's customer service was terrible. They ignored my attempts to address the issue. It's clear they're aware of the counterfeit problem but continue to deceive customers.

Avoid Cosette at all costs. Their unethical practices and disregard for customers are shocking. Don't risk falling for their counterfeit items and terrible service.

In summary, Cosette sold me a fake YSL Camera Bag, and their customer service is non-existent. Be cautious when dealing with this seller.

Got the Prada bag I purchased in 2022 authenticated by a third party, it came back as fake. Emailed Cosette. Their communication is woeful and takes weeks in between replies.
I lodged a complaint with Fair Trading NSW. This did not do much to get the matter resolved.
I applied for a hearing at NCAT. Attended a conciliation hearing online and Cosette didn't turn up. I was granted an actual hearing to occur in a few weeks but amazingly after shipping the bag back with the returns label Cosette sent me, I now have a refund. The bag is still in transit but the money is in my account. Do not purchase from them. Not sure how they are still operating.

Have flown to Sydney and returned a bag, said it’ll take 7 days to get the bag authenticated from their end for a refund. Don’t understand why they need to authenticate the bag when it’s counterfeit. Please respond to my endless email and Instagram message please. I need my refund.

After publications in the media about some handbags from Cosette being allegedly non-genuine I ordered an authentication. According to the attached Certificate from Luxury Authentications the bag that I purchased is a counterfeit. Cosette did not accept my request for reimbursement but offered another authentication instead. I have concerns that any authentication process initiated by Cosette may be conflicted and not independent and would like to receive a refund.

In summary, like many others, Cosette sold me a fake and won't acknowledge it. I have reported to ACCC and NSW Fair Trading. Don't buy anything from them. They honestly don't care and you will be like the rest of the people commenting, trying to get their money back.

Bought a fake bag from these just before Xmas last year for my wife. Saw on the news the fakes they have been selling. Had it authenticated and was confirmed to be fake. Contacted them on 8/8/2023 about it. Told me to send back the bag. I did, tracked. It has been delivered but now they don’t answer emails. Phone is always off and never return calls after leaving numerous voicemails and emails. If you also have a fake bag you bought from them and they tell you to send it back then DONT! They stop communicating with you once you do that. I’d love someone from there to call or email regarding this but there has been nothing for weeks since I sent it back. Scam company.

UPDATE.

After writing this original review they got back to me and told me to wait and extra 10 business days from that day for extra authentication process. That would have taken up to the 22/09/2023. Unfortunately after this time I have still heard nothing. No email, calls don’t go through. Lied to time after time about things the just don’t come up with on their end. I feel like they asked for the bag back so get rid of the evidence as they have a big court case to answer to. But it’s fine as everything has been recorded on my end. Will have no other choice than to escalate things higher now unfortunately.

Been in touch with trading standards and they have contacted Cosette on my behalf but still not contact with me directly. Am going to a court tribunal now. Will cost $60 to lodge but at least something will be done now. Given many opportunities to the to do the right thing . Sold me a fake bag and then stole it back. Absolutely terrible, look at the date on the screenshot of the email when they said 10 business days. That was 2 months ago. First contacted them in July, we’re in November now and still nothing

After the news I got my bag authenticated & it came back as fake. Got in touch with company they used to provide authenticate certificate which I requested when I ordered the bag two months ago. Authenticate first said they sent the certificate to Cosette advising it’s a fake bag which they then changed to authentic & send it to me. I send the bag back last week. Today without any communication what so ever they posted the bag back. I e mailed them again today saying I do not want their fake bag & would like my money back to which they replied they re-authenticated the bag & it came back as real. It’s kinda becoming a joke at this point, because the certificates customers are providing are not good enough & not real. But them changing fakes to real and sending the fake bags back with fake certificates it’s beyond my understanding. And how they still operating and no one is doing anything (authorities) to shut them down. Now at this point m not sure what can I do to get my money back. Please stay away from this company they are scammers.

They ended up taking the bag back n I got full refund. They said we doing this as a good will as we stand by the authenticity of our products but since you are not happy wth your purchase n you bought the bag not long ago we will refund you. They are still operating it’s business as usual for them but please do yourself a favour n stay away from them.

I purchased a bag from Cosette earlier in the year, and after seeing the press on potential fake bags, I had mine independently looked at, with the outcome being that I had purchased an inauthentic bag. I contacted Cosette for a refund and was asked to post the bag back to them for review. It has now been 3 weeks since the bag was returned to Cosette with confirmation from Australia Post of delivery, and I have not heard a peep from the company. I have sent numerous emails and made numerous calls to no avail, and I am now out of pocket for a large sum of money and without a bag. Appalling and disappointing.

UPDATE: they reached out to me after weeks and advised they would refund me if I returned the hand bag and advised it would take 3-5 business days to process the refund.

It has been well over the 3-5 business days and NOTHING. They are now blatantly ignoring my emails chasing the return.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour on their end. Just to blatantly ignore customers calling them out to respond weeks later saying the will issue a refund to never even do that… appalling.

They are scam artists and I will be taking this further. Hopefully I am able to get back the $1728 I paid for a fake bag.

I took my bag (YSL, medium black sunset) in 12 days ago, after having it checked over by Blue spinach, who authenticate through Entrupy NY (was deemed counterfeit) . I was told I’d get a refund within 48hrs. To this day I haven’t received a cent.
I have been leaving Voicemail’s, DM’s, sent emails all week with no reply. I’ve lodged a complaint with the department of fair trading, and I have let A current affair know. Absolutely disgraceful. I even emailed the parent company My fashion republic and Luxify. But who even knows if those businesses exist. Almost certain they’ll shut up shop soon. Appalling that they can get away with this.

I bought a YSL camera bag online and after a few questions were raised I had an independent verification completed and it came back as fake. I had wondered if it was too good to be true but believed the good reviews I was reading. Unfortunately Cosette has not been replying to emails or answering the phone to rectify

Thankfully the word is getting out there that this company is selling counterfeit goods. They have gotten away with this for too long! I too received a fake YSL Lou Camera Bag. This company should be out of business. Anyone considering buying a bag from them, don’t do it! Unless you want to buy a very expensive fake bag!

I purchased a Gucci Marmont bag from Cosette in December 2021. In Jan 23 the bag started falling apart. I contacted Cosette and they told me it was out of warranty. I then went and sourced three independent authentications on the bag who said the bag was fake!

I contacted Cosette to arrange my money back. They were very quiet on correspondence.

I travelled 5 hours to their store in Sydney where I presented the fake bag plus the three certificates showing it was fake! I had my refund for the bag and 1 authentication refunded.

I purchased a YSL Lou Camera bag earlier this year. Upon seeing all the media articles about fraudulent Cosette bags, I conducted my own authentication process with Legit Grails today and the bag is confirmed fake!! I now begin the long process of trying to get a refund. What is more alarming is that when I first received the bag, it came with a Legit Grails certificate of authenticity - which is clearly also a fake! Terrible business. Scamming poor people out of thousands of dollars. I hope this review will stop someone from wasting their money.

I bought a Saint Laurent Baby Niki mid-last year. Following the recent controversy, I got my bag authenticated by two reputable third-party authenticators. Both have come back confirming that the bag is a counterfeit.

I have contacted Cosette via Instagram and email but no response. The Instagram response I got stated that the media was publishing defamatory statements about the business. My friend helped me bring the bag into the store today and was met by 3 aggressive shopkeepers who stated that the third-party authenticators were lying and refused to provide a refund unless they independently verified the results themselves.

I have had no choice but to escalate this matter to the tribunal.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS - THIS BUSINESS IS SCAMMING AND FRAUDING AUSTRALIAN CONSUMERS.

Do not buy from here, it's a scam. I purchased a bag from Cosette last year and I recently had the bag authenticated by a third-party, who told me it was fake. I have now contacted Cosette multiple times to initiate a refund, based on their own 'authenticity guaranteed' policy, but have had no response and been unable to contact them on any listed numbers.
