Cosmopolitan Shop is a terrible store. I placed an order for a full bottle of a fragrance and they sent me a tiny travel bottle of some completely different fragrance from an entirely different brand. When I contacted their support via phone the first person apologized and said no problem we will have the correct fragrance sent to you and you can even keep the wrong item. Shortly after that I started receiving emails asking for photos of the incorrect item and once I provided that they sent a return label insinuating that I now need to return it and all I will be getting is a refund back, NOT going to send me the item I actually ordered. WHAT?! I had to call again and this time this supervisor told me the first person completely lied to me and everything they stated was false. I WOULD need to return the incorrect small item, AND they would NOT be sending me the item I actually ordered, that I would need to place a NEW order after a week of my time was wasted on a time sensitive item, AND they conveniently raised the price on the item $280 higher than it was when I placed my order. Unbelievable.
So THEY screwed up, but instead of THEM doing the right thing by the customer and fixing the issue, they put the burden on the CUSTOMER and make the CUSTOMER pay their time and money for THEIR screw up. On top of that, they would NOT honor the original price I had paid for the item, instead telling me I’ll need to take my business elsewhere for a good price. The epitome of terrible customer service. I’ll never shop here again and will make sure no one else in the fragrance community does either.
I paid for a year's digital only subscription on April 2024. Whilst browsing the magazine on my tablet, I realized some sections were blocked off and it required me to login with the customer ID (email wouldn't work) and password. I contacted customer service to request for the former on 21. November via email. During the course of the past 3+ weeks of back and forth, I have had to provide many details such as order confirmation which included payment confirmation and cc used, time stamp, etc. Today yet another rep is requesting I send her my credit card statement as payment confirmation I sent is not sufficient and they still can't find me... Are you kidding me? I have no intention of sending anyone my cc statements. And why is this required when you have proof of payment confirmation? This is not a serious business and one that exploits customers. If you are wise, you will stay far away from this business!
I'm not a fan of being pessimistic, but this one is really weird.
Missleading messages.
To be honest, in Theory not completely wrong, but in practise, its very unhealthy and damaging.
Ps: pls avoid these or at least take a reality check before taking action.
Room spectacular. Hotel service wonderful. Bar support … vomit. I was on the moon about the location and hotel service - wow the concierge and people passed in hallway were cordial and pleasant.
My partner bet 2k and was treated like a beggar asking for a beer while a neighbor who sat and gave 20 bucks for a bet got a complimentary cocktail: I got an old tasting Cabernet. When we walked to cirque without a greeting we looked for where to sit. We found a place where there was no sign of reservation. We were advise my a nice sever who advised he was sorry to be the bad bearer of bad news but the tables were reserved and we had to finish our drinks before entering.
Really? My partner just lost 1k and had a measily beer and I had an old wine, and can’t sit at an empty cirque at 5:30pm?
There are systems that need adjusting. There can be points for the type of bets at a sport bar, there can be ways to monitor drinks given within the same casino, and there can be better treatment when a bar is empty, to have either greetings or support to find seats.
The night before, the service at the Beauty and Seussex was minimal.
Overall, ridiculous, Most of the money made is from people who deposit less than us at the casino. Now perhaps it is because I have a Hispanic background and my partner Indian. As a school administrator who overseees equity, working with educators across the state of California, I will assume it is not the case and had to do with the lack of consideration of avoiding these experiences. When friends ask about the Cosmo, I’d recommend Aria if the person is a minority.
My hope is that the ones who had decision-making power actually care about reflecting on how to avoid this experience for others.
Loved the Marilyn issue, I would have liked to read more about her life. However, I will continue to buy your magazine.

I have been a reader of Cosmopolitan for years. I can say a lot for the magazine itself, but maybe not as much for their website. It appears the site shifts focus slightly from Fashion into Celebrity News. Don't get me wrong, there is still plenty of content catering to Cosmopolitan's core audience, but I wish they'd leave all the gossip and unsolicited updates to other gutter press outlets that thrive on them.
