The product I bought in May 2024 - an ‘arrow’ teak extending table is solid, well made, of good quality wood and simple to assemble.
Ordering online and delivery, all the way to Devon, was quick and efficient.

Absolutely delighted! If you're concerned about previous reviews here, it's probably worth being aware that the business is under new management and they're doing a great job.

We ordered a set of 4 garden chairs from Cotswold Teak and are so pleased with them. The build quality is excellent, including the craftsmanship and the quality of the wood, the delivery was fast and they arrived very well-packaged and protected.

The price was very competitive for wooden furniture and we've had really good support throughout. We've struggled to find well-built natural-wood garden furniture and we would definitely buy from Cotswold Teak again.

BITTERLY DISAPOINTED – furniture arrived late August. Mould within 9 weeks of receipt. 6 chairs and 1 table, covered in mould. Even though my husband treated the furniture with teak oil on day 1. Little or no useful response from vendor. Description on website clearly indicates that the furniture is fit to be left out all year round which was a factor in deciding to purchase.
Really annoyed and could write a lot more, will continue to request acceptable response and if possible, compensation; although having read these reviews my chances are significantly low. Note to self! ALWAYS LOOK FOR REVIEWS, the fact that there are none on the website is an indicator. Profile photo is of the offending mould.

Having purchased an 8 seater round table (the extra thick variant), I found that within a year the wood started splitting and bubbling up, despite me painting it with their own teak preserver on day 1. I contacted them recently concerning this and sent them photos (the table is now 22 months' old). They have now refused to do anything or even apologised for the poor quality - well actually they did ... saying 'Apologies we cannot help further at this time'. My previous table from Westminster teak lasted 20 years - this one lasted less than 2 years! I would steer clear - a waste of £650

We bought a garden bench. They took the money and send a receipt / delivery date was meant to be 10 days ago but nothing came and no one is answering calls or replying to emails.

I bought and paid for a teak garden table and chairs on 1st September due to be delivered in 8-10 days. Apart from the acknowledgement email I have had no further response from them and no delivery. I have emailed and left messages on their telephone number but have had no response. Nearly £800 and nothing.
I thought this was a reputable company and that is the only reason I bought from them. I am appalled.

We bought 2 Teddington steamer chairs this August 2023. Immediately, it was obvious one of the chair mechanisms was faulty and did not slide smoothly to allow the chair to slide back. Phoned the company where the ‘person’ who deals with customer service was not in the office. More phone calls and the person never is available. NO joy about replacing or fixing the chair. A terrible after sale service. Avoid this company. What a shame as thought I was supporting a Uk company based in the North. The only good thing I can say is that the delivery men who had had a long trip down from Manchester via Exeter and Lyme Regis to Poole, were delightful. What a shame for them that the company is not likely to thrive.

This business claims to that customer service and customer support is absolutely key. Unfortunately this is just a marketing statement to help convince you to spend money.

We bought one of their £600 Teak Outdoor Bars. After some time the 4 wheels perished and broke and a couple of the hinges snapped meaning that it’s not robust enough for outdoor scenarios as claimed.

No worries we thought as it’s still available we must be able to buy 4 new wheels to replace our that had broken and disintegrated and a couple of new hinges to replace the snapped ones - absolutely NOT!!

Not only do they make false claims they don’t reply to telephone calls or respond to voicemails. They also do not reply or respond to emails despite admitting on just one occasion they had received them!!

All we wanted was to buy replacement parts and fit ourselves - how hard can this be - well obviously far too hard for a company based in the North of England and obviously far to complicated to provide basic customer service.

It’s no wonder the North of England is failing to ‘Level Up’ with business like this and it’s no wonder people think Britain is broken when business cannot even deliver polite basic customer service to spend that hard earned salaries with them.

ADVICE. Take your hard earned money elsewhere to someone that cares and truly values your custom. There are plenty of alternative suppliers out there that perhaps Cotswold Teak forget about

My predecessor and I bought 24 loungers, 24 chairs, 6 tables....... I now need to replace the tyres on the loungers....not unexpectantly after 15 years of use. Phoned the company and got 'sales'..... got an impolite 'YES'....asked to buy 48 tyres.... 'DON'T SELL THEM' Can I buy 12 wheels and Tyres? 'will have to ask' ....Can you ship to Spain? 'NO' ...that was 4 weeks ago and still no reply re wheels
Rude, arrogant uncaring are the only polite words I can use for Cotswold Teak....AVOID!!!

I ordered a garden table as I have a garden bench that I purchased from Cotswold Teak 10 years ago. The bench has been great which is why I used the company again.
Although 2 tables were delivered with some minor damage, the 3rd was in A1 condition and the customer service was excellent.

Selected an oval garden table specifically because we needed something easily collapsible for frequent moving around and storing by two housekeepers over 50 years old. When it arrived it wasn’t clearly collapsible. Called and spoke to someone who said they’d get instructions. A week after no answer, called again and spoke to someone who said they’d record a video. A week after no answer, called again and spoke to someone else who said they would get to the bottom of it. And nothing! I have sent 3 emails and none have been answered. The product is not what they said it is! We want to return it and they won’t get back to me about it. We now have an expensive table we can’t use as it’s not fit for purpose and no where to store it. So disappointed. Will be contacting the ombudsman as not sure what else to do now.

Ordered two recliner sun loungers and foot stool together with small round table. Looked beautiful when I had them on the patio. Bought the 3 litre bottles of teak treatmentwhich was recommended. It maybe a bit time consuming but well worth it. I have one more chair to do. The furniture looks healthy and well nourished now and a lovely honey colour. Can’t wait to get them back onto the patio and I know we will enjoy relaxing in them. Roll on the good weather.

I ordered an outside garden table and 8 chairs, with a Lazy Susan last spring which I had to wait several weeks for. I paid quite a lot extra for the table to be unpacked and assembled, which it was, and I was pleased with the service. The table and chairs looked lovely. I rang the company and asked what I should be putting on the teak wood to protect it. Sadly I was given the wrong information and the table became dark and grey very quickly.
Following my negative review here, having been in touch with Cotswold Teak about the state of the table, I was contacted by one of the Directors who was anxious to make amends. He explained their family had just taken over the business and was unhappy I'd been given the wrong information. He very kindly offered to come and clean up the table for me, and he did just that. He also brought with him teak oil and teak waterproof products which he would not accept payment for.
So all praise to Cotswold Teak. My table is back to looking lovely, and I have been given the correct advice on how to look after it. Below is a photo of the table after he'd cleaned and oiled it. Thank you.

I’m adding the following lines in response to your message below. It’s really interesting what you say as I spoke with your managing director for 15 min who explained the opposite of what you just said, but happy to hear that you changed your mind!?

After two years some of the metal pins of the Toddington folding chair broke. I've contacted Cotswold Teak but they don't provide spare parts to replace and fix it and they don't provide assistance with repairs either. Basically, throw it away and buy a new chair attitude. What a shame... not good for cleints nor the environment..

Fantastic company to deal with. Brilliant site, great range and quick 2 man delivery. Will be coming back.

We bought a large oval table, 6 stackable chairs and 1 steamer and couldn’t be happier! The quality of the furniture is excellent and looks amazing. The delivery service was on time and efficient. We would not hesitate in recommending this company and will certainly order from them again.

A rarity in the modern world, expectations over exceeded. Old fashioned company to deal with did exactly what said and quality to last a life time. Highly recommended and best regards from Twickenham.

Having looked at a number of different options for our garden furniture we settled on an 8 seater oval table and tingewick stackable chairs. They really did seem to be the best option we found online in terms of quality and price - and I’m delighted to say they have surpassed expectations. The quality of the chairs especially are fantastic - and they are easy to lift and stack which is another bonus. I found Costwold Teak to be professional and very helpful and have already recommended to friends and family.

I ordered a table and six chairs from Cotswold Teak. They're exactly what I was looking for - really beautifully designed, sturdy and clearly crafted with love. The wood is super smooth and it looks gorgeous in my garden. The lazy susan is a wonderful addition which sets it off perfectly. This is a gorgeous set and I couldn't be happier with it.
