The service was highly professional. The team was very responsive to questions and produced the work product (which was extensive) in a very short time frame.
There was was necessarily input from me required, and the team made my life as easy as feasibly possible so that I could get them what they needed efficiently.

Long waiting. Quite expensive. Obvious mistakes.
The report I received after waiting 2.5 month had wrong calculations, that didn't make any sense with my holdings. Writing back and forth a lot didn't solve the problem, so we scheduled a call. In the call I not only had to point out that it doesn't make sense what they gave me, but also had to explain them basic tax rules from Germany (longterm holding tax is 0) that they weren't aware of.
It is unsettling if you pay thousands of euros for professional analysis and than have they feeling they don't really know what they are doing.
In the end I received a report that seems to make more sense, but had to fight for it. They didn't apologize for the the inconvenience or offered any compensation. Not a good experience after all. Can't recommend.

Even though you were quite responsive, overall I was not super happy because of the wrong results and all the stress I had because of it.
That said I would give you a very good rating, if you would grant me some compensation. I was thinking about a tax report for 2023 for example. 2023 was quite straightforward and with few transaction, so should be easy to do for you.
Please let me know if you're willing to do a deal here or not."

You were signed up for seven Basic Packages. Our guaranteed completion period is 14 business days for a Basic package. For your seven packages, that would be 98 business days; therefore, a 2.5-month delivery would be within the guaranteed completion period.

Our team typically requires additional context from the client, as each situation is unique. After our team sent you the initial context request, you also added new data sources that were not initially provided.

You had a call with our customer service representative and a member of our technical team, not from our tax team. If you made clear you had tax specific questions for the call we could have added a member from our tax team.

CountDeFi helps me sleep at night
I had previously prepared my own Crypto Tax information with available software (Koinly, etc). I was never confident these reports were completely accurate. After going through the process with CountDeFi I am completely satisfied and sleep much better at night knowing my reports are accurate and will withstand any scrutiny from the IRS. From my initial interview with Chris Herbst via Tele-Conference and then the subsequent interactions with my account manager Cheryl-Lee Botha, I was completely satisfied with the professional handling of my information and will definitely continue using them in future years.
