The CPD is an international customs document for the temporary admission of motor vehicles (private and commercial road motor vehicles) in countries where required. It serves as a customs declaration identifying the vehicle to be imported and constitutes an international guarantee for Customs of the payment of import duties and taxes chargeable should the vehicles not be re-exported. As you know, the processing time is a bit long, anywhere between 5 - 10 days, typically. This is because there are requirements that normally take the customer time to fulfill.
