No one showed up 2 days in a row.

I needed a security guard to handle an unusual, one-off situation (terminating a live-in employee who had anger management issues). I called several agencies, but no one even called me back, except CPS.

CPS sent me a guard when I needed one on short notice. He arrived on time, and the price was reasonable. I will definitely call CPS if I ever need a security guard again.

Security guards are friendly and very consciousness of checking job site.

We originally hired CPS Security for their specialized job, securing construction sites. We liked their service enough to hire them for security at our apartment building in SF, which needs a guard 16 hours a day. We've used them for six years. They charge far less than other companies, and we've had very few problems.

I currently work with CPS and have had communication problems with them for a while. The sales manager assigned to our account, Terry, never answers his phone nor messages. When trying to contact the local dispatch and local branch manager, I am told by a receptionist that they will get back to me and calls are never returned. In the last 4 months I have had to train 4 new guards, As I have had to have 4 removed from my site for multiple reasons, including playing on company equipment, driving at a high rate of speed and burning out in my truck yard, and allowing 3 security breaches in 48 hours, resulting in product loss to our company. The only reason I am still with them is one of our guards who is level headed and can make decisions to protect the facility, and knows when to call for help from my team.

Cynthia Kibby is our account executive sales representative and for the last 10 years has done a fantastic job serving all of our many challenging projects. She often can accomadate last minute requests to provide guards or install cameras. She does what she promises so I don't have to wonder if things will get done.

Great service

Overall CPS does a very good job. There are two opportunities that come to mind that could use some improvement. First is being a little more careful about regulating who is allowed into the facility and second, making sure the guard post is supplied with shift logs and incident report documents.

We had an urgent security need at a renovation project. There was a theft and the danger that the criminals would return. CPS provided a uniformed patrol officer within hours and maintained around the clock security until we were able to install electronic surveillance. Their responsiveness and their reporting both to the owner of the property and to the police was comprehensive and really great. I endorse them without reservation and they will be my first choice for security services in the future.

When we call for security guards, CPS has never failed to provide adequate guards.

In spite of change of salesmen at the beginning of our project which created a mix-up in their invoicing, we had an excellent experience with CPS Security. Thing were straightened out and the whole project went smoothly, their cameras were top quality the video images were clear and precise with no interruption in service.

this was the worst security firm i have ever seen. constant issues. not being present during hours we were paying for to staining the new pavers in the drive area with the security guards leaking car. leaving trash and food laying around from their shifts, sleeping in their cars across the street from the job site. i could go on for days. Basically they are the worst at what they do in my companies opinion.

We have had some problems with staffing guards but the customer service has responded well to our concerns. They are responsive when guard service is required like the recent patrol service at our shopping center.
