I wish I could give more than 5 stars! My little boy has sensory issues and doesn't let people near his hair but Craig was so calm and patient with him it was the best hair experience he's ever had. Everything was at my son's pace. We'll definitely be coming back!

Had our first visit today. It went well. Craig gave my Son time and space and started to build a relationship with him. My son is already talking about coming back. So great steps made towards getting a haircut and being happy about it.

I was really nervous on how my daughter would react as she really doesn't like her hair being touched.. Well it was the calmest experience and I won't be going anywhere else now.. thanks so much again!!

We’ve been going to Craig for a couple of weeks now and we wish we would have found him sooner. The care and compassion demonstrated by Craig is unremarkable. 100% recommend.

Well what can I say? What a breath of fresh air this man is and I’m so happy we found him :)

My son has been petrified of haircuts since the very beginning. No idea why but the meltdowns were so severe I used to leave in tears and he was traumatised!

Myself and his dad have been doing our best for the past couple of years, but it’s pretty evident that Paramedics can’t cut hair :)

My son sat playing with the toys at Craig’s barbers yesterday, while Craig worked around him and kept him at ease and distracted the whole time. His friendly, and no rush approach is fantastic and the whole experience was just lovely.

Not a single tear was shed and we now have a little boy went to his childminder this morning so proud to show off his big boy haircut.

We travelled a little over 40 minutes to Craig’s shop and it didn’t disappoint. What a 5 star service he offered. We’ll definitely be returning not only a lovely haircut for my son but such a calm and stress free environment. We’ve tried many hairdressers and barbers and all have gone quite badly. Thankfully we’ve Craig’s barbers and the wonderful services of offers ⭐️

Took my 2 year old to Craig’s yesterday after reading an article about him online. My boy was so scared of having his haircut from previous experiences with another barber however our visit to Craig’s couldn’t have been any more different. Brilliant communication from our first message about the appointment options and all through our visit. When we arrived he was given time to explore before Craig approached and engaged with him and asked him if he could comb his hair. He allowed him to play and followed his lead, all while cutting his hair and talking to him throughout. By the end my son didn’t want to leave and the biggest battle was getting him out of the shop. Amazing experience, haircut and no tears. Already booked our next appointment.

I brought my son to Craig’s Barber Shop this morning, it was our first visit and from the minute we walked through the door Craig made us both feel so welcome. He allowed my son to explore the shop and the toys around before approaching him to start his hair, he was so calm, patient and friendly and followed my son round at his pace; taking breaks at times when needed too, I would highly recommend Craig for anybody to have their hair done, whether they are neurodiverse or not! An amazing barber!!

So patient! Acknowledges your child's fears and works on them. Makes you and your child feel at ease. Every barber we have been too has been a nightmare, physically and emotionally challenging and draining first appointment with Craig what so different. I will never use another barber

I took my 18 month old son to Craig's barber shop today after 2 very traumatic haircuts in other hairdressers. I couldn't believe how calm my son was throughout the whole haircut. He just played with the toys there, walking around the whole shop whilst his hair was cut with no tears or tantrums! He looks so smart now, and will 100% be returning for all future haircuts! Thankyou for being so kind and patient with my son!

I hadn’t had a haircut in over 6 years due to my neurodivergence and anxiety but I was surprised when it was over. Craig made the experience comfortable and easy to deal with, and I love my new hair cut

Absolutely amazing. My son hasn't had his hair cut professionally for over a year due to his last barbers being too rough and impatient with him and today was a completely different experience! Very kind, soft spoken and allowed my son to move around freely and play whilst following him around. 10/10, will definitely be back!

Today was my grandson first time at craigs after people recommended craig due to little one having lots off meltdown when having hair cut lots of tears and even the word hair dressers set him off but after todays visit with Craig hair cut was a breeze Craig worked around little one playing and moving and still got the job done 😁👌 the surrounding was calm craig is gentle and no rushing the little one put it one way the little one didn’t want to leave 💁 I can’t thank him enough one less stress on little one’s sensory if I could give 10 stars then 10 it would be we need more craigs for our super hero but craig don’t realise he’s the super hero little ones looking forward to his next visit

Absolutely brilliant barbers. I have never been able to take to take my 11 year old son to a barber before. He didn't have to sit in a chair, Craig just followed him round the room and cut his hair on the move. So friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

Zac took to here straight away which is very unusual for him , it is the first time he has had his haircut in a shop environment and not cried. Craig was brilliant really friendly and chatty and just snipped around Zac as he was playing.

Booked my son in for his first proper hair cut after not having a great experience at another hairdressers a year ago and someone we know recommending Craig. From the off he made my son feel welcome, never made him sit in a chair, let him run and move as much as he wanted and my son loved it, was so well behaved and we finally got his long hair all cut! Will be back again! Fantastic service ☺️
