I have enjoyed the instant feedback from Eleanor with regard to her detailed asssessments of my assignments.
The online reference material is excellent and almost does away with the need to search for additional information.
As an aside I am over 80 years of age and thought that my writing days were well over but my experience with AACWA has stimulated me to do more and be more adventurous in my written work.
Additonally, the experience has given me the confidence to take on a subeditor role in a new Medical journal about to be launched.

The course content is challenging but interesting. The reading is well paced and relevant.
I like the flexibility to the course as I work full time and the feedback is very helpful and has assisted in improving my writing.

I have just one more assignment to go, but man, I can already see how much I have developed as a writer by doing this creative writing course! I have always wanted to write a book about lessons I have learned during my life, but really had no idea where or how to start. At first I was worried I would be able to fit working on this course into my already very full schedule, but the fact that there are no real time constraints was great. My tutor was always there to give advice and the feedback I received after every assignment was so valuable. I have learned so much and I am so glad I committed to doing this course! I feel so much more confident to write this book. In fact, I have already started through the assignments in this course!

The course is challenging, invoking more ideas as I work through it. Many works, including my Sci-Fi short story series, came from this, as well as my appreciation of writing poetry.

I can't recommend enough for writers.

Great so far. I really like the course layout. Being only available to study remotely the Advanced course works well for me to improve my writing as I write my second fantasy novel.

I absolutely love undertaking studies at the Academy. I’m currently completing the Advanced Post Graduate Certificate of Creative Writing (home study). I like that the course and submission guidelines take adult learning methodologies into account. I receive meaningful feedback and guidance from my tutor, and the course material is well organised to support self paced learning. All the materials abs resources are available to me for a positive educational journey. Each unit incorporates practical tools to prepare me for engagement within the industry.
