Cross Solicitors, and Katie in particular, did excellent work for us in the sale of our mother’s house. It was a long and complicated process due to it being in negative equity with a company that had taken on the original agreement made with Northern Rock. They kept us informed at all stages of the process and were very quick to respond to our queries. Their charges for the work carried out were exceptionally reasonable too. We would very strongly recommend them.

Often buying/selling a house is really stressful chasing solicitors for updates. Not so with Libby at Cross, she was very responsive and proactively chasing our buyers solicitors daily when there were hold ups (and there were a few - this was not a straight forward sale but no fault with Cross).

I'd use Cross solicitors every time, there is a great team well equipped to answer all your queries and push towards an exchange date as quickly as possible.
