I love the yarn and hooks! The yarn doesn't really coordinate with itself, and it's not a great yardage for one project. One hook had a rough spot, and it's my favorite anyway.
I ordered the whimsical stitch markers grab bag. Based on what i saw online, I was expecting to get a variety of charms. Instead I received two packs of the same thing...all cats. I hate cats! I could've stood one pack, or one or two in each pack, but both packs were ALL cats. No variety. Very disappointed.

Everything about DGY makes me happy. I have more dresses and skirts than I can count, and I love them all. I'm nearly a year in learning how to crochet, and the yarn I get is exquisite!!

"Surprise skeins" marketed as "overstocks and bestsellers that retail for $15" are junk scrap yarn they dug out of the trash. They dont even ship from the same place as as their actual retail yarn. At least that was the excuse why they didnt send the skein I paid full retail price for. So I didnt get the one thing I wanted & only got a bunch of trash balls for $5 each that were dirty and gross. AND they want ME to pay fedex to come pick it up because im disabled and cant drive. They shipped it via USPS but wont let me return it via USPS. They actually suggested "I get someone to take me there" Like im going to spend $30 to uber to fedex to mail them back their trash to pawn off on another unsuspecting customer. They only sent me the fedex label after I opened a dispute with the credit card conpany after weeks of them making excuses about their unlabeled trash being sold as "overstocks and bestsellers". Then they whined about the chargeback fees despite that being the only reason they even sent a return label. Chargeback fees can be avoided by not lying about what you sell and addressing the issues immediately. Theyre not the victim. They stole my money. They lied about what their surprise skeins were. They decided to send used scrap trash for $5 a cake (they werent even skeins). They didnt bother sending the $28 retail yarn I ordered. They had weeks to send a USPS label or just issue a refund. But boohoo they gave to pay chargeback fees bc I didnt want to let them keepy money? I wish I could post photos of just how gross and disgusting this yarn was. "Sustainable" companies dont ship in multiple shipments, dont pass off used acrylic trash as retail hand dyed yarn, label the fiber content of their products and dont waste money & energy shipping trash back and forth.
If they sent it via USPS, I shpuld be able to return it via USPS. Not have to pay someone to drive me to some other carrier. Or they can arrange for carrier pickup like e every other company does to accomodate disabilities so they're violating the ADA.
Edit: This is the description on their website:
"Each $5 Surprise Skein is a hand-picked from our studio stash—pulled from past bestsellers, rare overstock, and small-batch extras. You won’t know what weight or colorway you’ll get—but that’s half the fun!
Normally $18–$25, this is the perfect way to treat yourself, spark creativity, or top off your cart with something totally unique (and totally worth it)."
I did not get anything that came from their "studio stash" or that ever retailed for the price stated. I got trash. And they have the audacity to say "surprise! it's not returnable". I did not receive anything like the description. The description should say "random trash from our junk bin - mostly worthless" and then I can understand. They market this as if you're getting retail skeins that you can't return if you don't like the colors. Instead they send you literal trash balls [not even skeins] from a junk bin and say "all sales are final - even if we set you trash and lied about what we selecting these from and how much they retail for". They have pieces of OTHER yarns in them - that can only happen if they were laying around in a junk bin before being balled. They aren't retail size. They aren't kept at the same location they ship their retail product from and they literally STOLE other money from me by NOT sending the $28 retail item I ordered. They still have my money and whined about the chargeback fees and whined about an alleged non-refundable fedex label [lies] costing them money while they KEPT $28 for a product they never sent and $50 they kept from selling me trash. Of course there's a chargeback fee - it's to discourage from STEALING from people like they did to me. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY LIE and STEAL your money then cry like they're the victim while your money is still in their pocket.
