Not as family friendly gym as advertised...
When I joined the Amsterdam DL, I was sold a dream that by the time the renovations will finished, this will be a place where families can go at any time and leave their kids in the creche / activities and have a bit of me-time. Far from reality! Creche is not included in the membershop (which was before the renovations) and now there are only three days in the week when they offer classes (Tuesday/Wednesday and Sundays). We used to have classes on Saturdays but due to a "staff sortage" they were cancelled over a month ago and they have never come back to the schedule. So... if i can only take my kid on Sundays, what is the point of me paying a membership? I have tried addressing this topic via email, but of course, you are always given the silence treatment... Not the service you expect from a high-end gym for the price you pay.
If you have a family and looking for a gym, find other alternatives. DL is not one of them!
