Southsea Deckchairs was founded by Stephen Davies, a deckchair attendant working on Southsea beach during the 1980s and this is where Stephen’s love of deckchairs began. The Southsea Deckchair workshop was established in 1991, and the first batch was ready in the same year. The Southsea deckchair was developed from life-cycle testing and continuous improvement over the next 15 years with the three essential ingredients capable of withstanding a seaside environment: quality, strength and durability.

High-quality and quick service
High-quality products and quick service. Many years ago I bought some Southsea deckchairs which have lasted the test of time. I recently added a windbreak for our trips to the beach, and have been very impressed.

We absolutely love our sun loungers
We absolutely love our sun loungers, they are very comfortable and well built. Wish they offered garden furniture in the uv resin too!
Lovely customer service as I wanted the goods delivered on a specific date and everything went to plan. Highly recommend Southsea Deckchairs

Great choicePrice of covers for the chairs
Great choice of covers for the chairs. Prompt delivery. Chairs feel solid and good quality. Like the fact that the seat back is full length of the back making them very comfortable. A bit pricey but overall probably reflective of the quality.

Orange Sun Lounger
Ordered a sun lounger which was delivered very quickly, the price was higher than I expected to pay as had bought many of these beds in Menorca, Spain. Even taking into account it's an import the price charged in this country is a big difference.

Such lovely deckchairs
Such lovely deckchairs. We have had one of their deckchairs with the wooden seats for years and always raced to be the first to sit in it, as it’s so comfy. We’ve recently bought two more so each family member has their own. The designs are bright and cheerful too.

Beautiful deckchairs
Just received two deckchairs. Great build quality. Lovely vivid coloured fabric. Absolutely delighted with them. Not cheap but well worth paying the extra for some top quality furniture.
