Slow delivery, poor quality gel and damaged packaging. 1 item missing. Asked for a return and refund and I was told I had to pay for the return of a heavy gift box item! Unhelpful and very misleading in terms of product quality.

Be sure to video the unwrapping of your package. The package of my product was damaged and upon opening the box which had no plastic seal the styling brush was missing. To date he company have refused to apply the missing brush!
This matter had been going back and forth through emails since February 3 2026, not to mention that delivery took longer than the expected normal timeframe.

I have not received the order. It was a Christmas present for daughter.

Now reading the other reviews I wouldn't trust this company.

I got the same brush earlier in the year for me from a UK based company and gpt a quality brush which is great.

Been over 3 weeks and still not got my stuff. Says on website it takes within 5-8 working days to get to UK. Chased them so many times and then 3 weeks later them say they come back within 24 hours and that there have been issues with the logistics company which is b******t because that’s what Chinese companies use as a excuse. If I had known it was company from abroad I would NEVER ordered it!!!! No doubt I’ll get my money back either!!!

Not as advertised brushes cheap and no good. The curling creams were not good product. Actually dried my hair out. Expensive and poor quality. The only good thing is it did arrive quickly.

Scam! From China, cheap product!

This is the same brush that’s on SHEIN. And to be fair I would have got it quicker from SHEIN. Rip off they say UK based but have to wait weeks as they are from china. £23 or you can get one from SHEIN for £1.89. Don’t waste your money !

Absolutely awful. The brush never arrived. No one came to my house to try to deliver it. Absolutely awful!! I have waited for months!!! I have no words!

I bought a couple of brushes using one of their special offers, on the basis that using a lot of conditioner to get defined curls was costing me a fortune.

I've been using the brush for a good few weeks now and am very happy with the results.

I've used the Curly Girl Method for many years and found it a real faff timewise and really needed to speed up the process.

It's done that with bells on, and I've never had so many comments about my hair - I've had 2 today! I have good definition from a few minutes investment each day.

My refresh consists of brushing my hair with a wet brush and then brushing with the brush vertical to get the separation.

The company is British and the items are made overseas. It doesn't change the fact that it's a very good product.

Really annoyed to find that the tracking shows the brushes i ordered are coming from China when the company is advertised as a uk company! How is this able to happen? I'm not holding out much hope with regards to the product, if and when i receive it.

Terrible!
Order a brush (for £31) and was told it would arrive in 5-8 days which was in time for my wife's birthday. Great I thought.
8 days later I learned (via shop) it was on its way from China. I queried with their customer service who just said it was in transit. I asked for a
refund as it was too late, got told no chance unless I return the parcel to China myself....at my own expense.
Oh, still yet to recieve the parcel as of 20th Feb. A complete con, buy from here at your own risk.

The fact they claim to be a UK company and actually ship from China was the first red flag. They are not who they are claiming to be - avoid! avoid! avoid!

Now I have seen the other reviews on trust pilot it all makes sense.

Item was shipped from China unexpectedly, which delayed the expected arrival time massively. Item would never make it in time for Christmas, so started the refund process. They requested that I ship it BACK to China in order to get the full refund, while also continuing to claim they’re a UK based company. Only gave one star as they offered to refund 40% and leave the items with me, which I feel was the cheaper option over shipping a box back to China tracked.

Would not buy from again.

This brush is an absolute game changer for me, I have thick course curls that are rather unruly and go frizzy, however since using this brush I have lovely neat ringlets and a big plus I don't even bother to section my hair like the video shows. I'd definitely recommend, delivery wasn't too long either seeing that it came from China

Would give zero avoid this site it’s a scam and goods were never shipped. No response from the buisness

I was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews. I ordered a couple of brushes and I have to say they arrived promptly and are in good condition and they do the trick. I do think they are worth the price but it would be good to have the option just to buy one, but I guess you can give one away. Did have a failed deliveryand I emailed the company and got a response back within the hour saying the delivery would be occurring that day and it was right brushes turned up a couple of hours later no complaints.

I got suckered. All I can say is buyer beware The only good thing about Define Curls is that I got two brushes which is what I ordered and paid for. They were not worth the money paid - even on the 2 for 1 offer. The brushes I received were the wrong colour, not like the picture which had “Define Curls” branding - the ones that arrived were unbranded and poorly packaged. The packaging was damaged. They were poor quality - the bristles were completely distorted on both and this seemed a manufacturing fault rather than handling damage. The basic concept of this type of brush is good, that would be if the bristles were not completely distorted, but the reality is that these are a dupe of another product and all videos on Define Curls are stolen from a content creator’s social media platform where another manufacturer’s brush is being used. There are plenty of dupes of this brush available on eBay, Amazon and similar that are unbranded and look identical to what I received so if you want to try the concept present a better value for money option.

I really thought I’d done my homework and this was a considered purchase. I ordered via the Define Curls website and checked the independent reviews and went through their on line blurb and even made sure the company exists. It does. It presents itself as a new start up with its products accredited by several beauty brands. The products are shipped from China. Define Curls says it takes 3-4 days to ship and the claim is that the company uses Royal Mail. So I expected to have my order within a week, 10 days at most. My order was updated via the Shop app, it took 6 working days to ship and then the tracking showed it was coming from China. The package was held up in China, before being flown to Europe where it was held again before being shipped again. It finally arrived via EVRI 6 weeks to the day after the order was placed. I tried through the process to cancel my order but failed. There is no process or customer service to cancel orders or return incorrect items. The chargeback via my credit card failed because Define Curls claimed that I had received 2 brushes which is what I ordered.

I feel lucky that I received something potentially useful even though on the special 2 for 1 offer they do not present anything close to value for money. I see Define Curls is now promoting hair care products. I can only imagine what buyers are receiving

If I could give zero I would!!! Absolute waste of time!! I have been waiting for 2 weeks for my items and they just keep fobbing me off! Can’t get a refund, they just keep saying we are looking into the issue!! ALSO they are not a uk company all the products are shipped from china??? False advertising complete waste of time and money!! 🤬

I bought this brush for my son who has long curly hair and struggles with tangles. He LOVES this brush! It's made his hair brushing so much easier, it just glides through his hair effortlessly!
And the vegan materials won me over!
Very happy customer.
