Ended up with a logo design that was way better than I could have ever imagined.
Advice:
1. Offer a fair price for the service to attract good designers.
2. Commit your budget from day one. You will be overwhelmed by the creativity. If you do not commit - why should the designers?

In my honest opionin, for the design contest to get a company logo the overall process was a little daunting, difficult, fraught with delays, and overall headaches, but still worth it. There was more involved in costs, time, language barriers, and understanding between me and the graphic artists. But overall, I trully got what I wanted out of the process, which is a logo for our company. Design Crowd worked with us on anything that we needed and have the expertise and technical know how to support us 24/7. Additionally, there were some language barriers to cross because many of the graphic artists were located around the world and there were difficulties in getting the exact ideas, motives, and worded necessary to get the right design.

The designer read my mind and added a touch of his own creative design. It was a very simple process and I felt that I had control of every step. I saved a lot of time and money going through DesignCrowd. I also had a lot of quality designers at my finger tip. I will definitely use DesignCrowd again for all my business needs.

Getting a logo drawn up by design crowd was super easy. The support and feedback was lightening quick. Being able to work with so many different designers meant you got some really diverse design offers and wonderful choices. Great service. Some designs are better than others...some do look a bit like child drawing but then you have really professional ones.

As a complete novice to anything design related this is fantastic way to go. The instructions were crystal clear. The interface was extremely user-friendly. Customer support were excellent. The vast majority of designs submitted for my project were to a very high quality. Couldn't have asked for a better service. Many talented designers. Some listened to feedback, some didn't listen, and some didn't seem to understand my very plain instructions. My feedback listed quite specific changes. I was not vague. Maybe, language is a barrier??

Designcrowd is a pool of creativity! I gave them very little to work with and was very pleased at ALL of the designs that came up. The process was straight forward and easy to do. It was hard to step away from the computer because I was excited to see each design that was sent. I was a little nervous doing a design for my start up using this process. I will say I am blown away by how easy the set up process was, how easy it was to interact with the designers and easy to review submissions. The quality and ideas of the designers was really great to see. I highly recommend this process to anyone who really doesn't have time or ability to do this. For the price, I felt it was a bargain and the designers were great in resubmitting updates to their designs when asked. I have always found it hard to find a designer that can create the designs i am after without paying an arm and a leg with no guarantees, but designcrowd.com make it so easy. I set a budget, and designers from all over the world started sending submissions, most of them were of a really high quality. I have gone from finding it hard finding someone that can convey our messages to our clients, to having so many excellent designs you struggle to decide which one is best.
