It’s our first experience with Devoucoux and Ryan has been exceptional in all aspects from the saddle fitting, making sure the horse and rider are comfortable and happy but most of all his after sales is incredible.
I can’t say a bad word about our whole experience, we have since had saddle checks, Ryan has made sure he was with us within a reasonable time if not faster than I thought.
Honestly exceptional service and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Selle de dressage vérifier en septembre 2025, la selle est sous garantie. Devoucoux m’appelle en me disant que la modification prend une semaine étant en complet je décide d’acheter un amortisseur à cale pour limiter la casse. La dame me dit envoyer un un message pour que je puisse vous envoyer un bordereau chose faite aucune réponse malgré que les messages aient été lu. Suite à ça je les recontacte hier et la bonne nouvelle ils leurs faut quasiment deux semaines pour modifier les panneaux !!! Alors que bizarrement à certains endroits c’est fait dans la journée!!! Bref la selle va être vendue, marre d’être prise pour une debile.

I purchased a saddle from your company at the Christmas horse show London 2024 ...
And despite contacting your company many many times for help as the saddle does not fit my horse ..even going so far as to going to burley and the 2025 Christmas show to speak to your staff at the stand ...
I get promised a rep to come out and sort my saddle ... 20 months on ...NOTHING a big fat no help ...
Had I known how bad your customer service was I would not have gone near your company...

J'ai acheté une selle neuve sur mesure…
J'ai acheté une selle neuve sur mesure pour mon cheval avec aucune prise de mesure correctement fait avec un commercial non diplômé. A réception de celle ci, les problème sont apparus après plusierus essais mon cheval s'est retrouvé avec un comportement bizarre sous la selle. Quelques mois plus tard, un défaut de fabrication sur les starss donc elle est repartie en SAV. J'avais un cheval complètement irrégulier. J'ai fait venir une ostéopathe qui m'a dit que la selle bloqué le dos de mon cheval des traces blanches sont apparus. La selle a été mise sur mon cheval 4 FOIS et elle ne lui convient pas du tout car ce n'est pas le bon arçons. J'ai payé une selle neuve hors de prix qui soit disant sur mesure pour que quelque mois plus tard elle ne convienne pas a mon cheval !!! et blesse mon cheval. Aucune reprise possible sur ma selle neuve.
Suite a ça j'ai demander un remboursement en faisant un courrier. Ils mon répondu que ce n'était pas possible, qu'ils pourrais juste modifier les panneaux.
BREF j'en suis resté la car j'ai voulu me faire plaisir en achetant une selle soit disant de bonne qualité. J'aurais du m’abstenir maintenant j'ai cette selle neuve qui m'a couté très cher avec des commerciaux incompétents et un service client qui rejette la faute sur leurs commerciaux . Morale de l'histoire Devoucoux ne gardent ni ses employés ni ses clients. Aucun professionalisme.

Mail personne ne répond... j'ai du être menaçante pour récupérer mon acompte. A fuir. Je devais acheter une selle neuve... mais aucun suivi. On encaisse et rien ne se passe.

Worst customer service ever. My sales rep did not properly fit my horse. When I tried to have the saddle adjusted they did not respond to any inquiries. They should not be in business.

Signed up for a lease. Cancelled within a month, they said it would take 4. They won’t even send back my refundable security deposit. Blocked my number and will not return emails. The one time he did answer my call to tell me I couldn’t even get my security deposits back, the sales director told me it was unfair that I would keep everyone I know from making the same mistake I did.
mauvaise foi et pas de sens client
L'entreprise se vante d'être exemplaire sur son empreinte carbone. Effectivement j'ai payé un chronopost pour récupérer mon colis dans un point relai. Le comique de la situation est que j'ai pris ma voiture pour faire 2X10km et ainsi recevoir ce colis alors que mon facteur passe tous les jours ! A l'arrivée j'ai moi contribué à alourdir l'emperinte carbone pour que Devoucoux fasse de l'auto-satisfaction avec un choix de gestion qui empire la situation globale. Evidemment je leur ai fait part de mon observation et la réponse est que pour 9€ et quelque je pouvais être livrée à domicile ! Concernant le matériel je verrai à l'usage, ce n'est pas mon sellier habituel et il y a peu de chances pour qu'il le devienne.
Sinon commande facile, livraison rapide au point relai, caron imprimé à l'enseigne Devoucoux pas utile puisque étiqueté et gribouillé donc inutilisable pour le cadeau. Produit déposé tel quel dans le carton. Franchement sens du client inexistant je pense que leur clientèle habituelle auto suffit aux finances de cette entreprise.

In 2018, I bought a chiberta lab saddle from Devoucoux, in early 2021 I noticed a change and had the saddle checked by their local rep. I was informed that the tree was possibly broken. The only way to confirm this was to send it back to Devoucoux to have their repair shop open the saddle and physically check the tree. I was also told that there was a warranty on the tree, and we were still inside that warranty.
The saddle went to Devoucoux's repair shop and I was informed that the tree was indeed broken and was being replaced. I received the saddle back, had their rep out shortly after and was told the saddle was good.
Then this spring I noticed the same issues as I had in 2021. I immediately contacted the local Devoucoux rep, Candice. Candice and her supervisor Charlie came out to check the saddle. They informed me that the tree was indeed broken again. When I informed them that the tree was only 2 years old and the 2nd tree that has been put in this saddle, they told me that the tree actually had not been replaced 2 years ago. Instead of replacing a broken tree the company did a "reconditiong". From my understanding, there is no way to do a reconditioning of this type of tree. Devoucoux instead did a patch of the tree, which did not fix the problem. It only covered it up, and now that the patch has broken.
I have been trying for over 60 days to get any type of response for resolution from Devoucoux. Their tactic is to just ignore my emails and phone calls and hope that I go away. I have tried contacting Candice (local rep), Charlie (sales manager), and Jerome (VP of sales). None of them have offered to help me get my saddle repaired.
If you are thinking of doing business with this company, know that they do not stand by their products. They also will cut corners to keep from fixing them when there is a defect. By cutting these corners they have put both myself and my horse in potentially unsafe conditions that could have resulted in injury. I can only imagine that this is not a rare instance but a company practice.

Be very careful ordering from this company. I placed an order in good faith with the understanding that I would be able to get a loaner saddle while waiting on mine to be made. That was going to take four months (!) because Devoucoux shuts down for the entire month of August, adding an additional month to the usual three month production time. It turns out there were no loaner saddles to be found. I have asked for a refund of the $3,000 deposit I put down. So far, I have not heard back from the company and my representative is not responding.
Dressage Saddle Defects
We purchased a dressage saddle in the UK through our area Devoucoux representative. We diligently follow the instructions for oiling the new saddle. After a few months the leather started to get 'ribbed'. Despite the local agent saying she would look into the problem the company has refused to accept it is a defect. They initially blamed the issue on our daughter's riding technique (she competes nationally), her height and finally the way we have cared for the saddle. My wife has maintained leather tack for over 40 years and has never had a problem of this nature with any of the many saddles she has owned. Devoucoux head office in France has refused to honour the warranty and continues to insist “the wear is directly related to the saddle’s maintenance”. We are very disappointed at the way our complaint has been handled and will certainly not be buying another Devoucoux saddle.
