Communication was pretty terrible
Communication was pretty terrible. I got an email saying that the parts were not in stock, and asking if I wanted them back ordered. I immediately replied that I did, and asked for confirmation that they were being ordered. I got nothing.
Several days later, I called and asked for confirmation that The parts had been ordered. I was told that the lady was needing to check with shipping(?) but that I would get a call back as soon as she had an answer. I never received a call back.
Apparently, there was a call, but for whatever reason, whoever made the call didn’t think it was important to leave a message in the voicemail. When I contacted you again to ask where the heck my parts were, I was told that they had come in wrong and would needed to be re-ordered.
When the parts did come in, you sent them next day air to get them to me in a timely manner. This was great, but I guarantee you lost money on this sale, and it would’ve been so much easier if somebody would have just taken 30 seconds to send me an email to let me know what was going on with the order as it was moving through your system.
Your communication is pretty terrible, and you really need to do a better job if you want to stay in business.
Recent Experience
I am writing to share my recent experience with Discount Strut, which unfortunately was far below expectations. My order remained in a “pending” status for over two weeks with no updates or communication from the company.
After noticing the delay, I contacted customer service multiple times. On three separate calls, I was disconnected before being able to speak with anyone. When I finally reached a representative, she informed me that my order number was not appearing in the system. In the middle of trying to provide more details, I was disconnected again.
Upon calling back and reaching a different agent, my order was located immediately, and I was told that part of it had already shipped. This directly contradicted the website, which still showed the order as pending. It was clear that the online tracking information was inaccurate and that there was a lack of consistency between departments.
Additionally, none of the agents I spoke with introduced themselves, and the overall tone of the interactions felt dismissive rather than helpful. As a customer simply trying to get clarity on an order, this was both frustrating and disappointing.
I hope Discount Strut takes this feedback seriously and works to improve its order-status system, employee training, and communication processes. Accurate information and courteous service go a long way in maintaining customer trust, and I would like to see those improvements before considering another purchase.

You did not ship the 100 each 1" strut straps, but I paid for them. I sent you an emessage saying they were not in the shipment, but did not get any response.
The order should have gone out in three…
The order should have gone out in three days it took two weeks. i had to send e mails asking where is my order and phone calls. Also was charged shipping $400 was able to have that removed because of the size of the order it said free shipping. Too much work to get this order done. Chris Nelson

DO NOT BUY FROM DISCOUNT STRUT
Only received 2 of my items out of order of 14. I spent 860.92 with them and they shipped 180.00 to me. I have called and left multiple messages, I have emailed multiple times and have received no response for several days. I cannot get anyone to let me know when OR IF they will ship the rest of my order. Terrible customer service, DO NOT BUY FROM DISCOUNT STRUT.

Wrong product shipped
Wrong product shipped to us, even though we ordered the correct part. Asked for an RMA with prepaid return label. Return label was never provided.
What type of business is this
Good pricing but only half my order showed up and no tracking or any type of response. Reached out by phone and email multiple times and no response there either. At this point the terrible customer service and lack of material that was charged outweighs the pricing.
