Dof reality is not at all worth the money i have had my rig for over a year now with nothing but issues with it. Customer service is a complete waist of time. don't waist your money on this junk. the rig constantly glitches out mid race and lays over to one side and you have to completely shut the rig down and close the app and restart it. it might work for 10 min and it does it all over again. contacted customer service and they say go through the trouble shooting on the web site. they dont care to help with anything. worst company and worst rig on the market.

The customer support team was awesome helping me troubleshooting the malfunction on my rig, with tutorial videos and photos. They were able to diagnose and send me the part I needed to fix it and continue having fun. Their sim rigs are affordable, durable and the customer support is great! 100% recommended.

DOF Reality offers one of the best values in motion simulation. My experience with them has been very positive over several years, though not without a couple of minor issues along the way.

I started with an H3 platform and recently upgraded to the H4. I really appreciate that they designed the systems to be upgradeable instead of forcing customers to buy an entirely new rig. While there isn't step-by-step documentation for every possible upgrade configuration, the provided manuals and assembly videos made the process straightforward and MUC much easier than I was expecting.

The H4 has been a meaningful upgrade for me. I'm still dialing in the heave axis, but I could immediately tell it adds another layer of realism by reproducing suspension travel and road texture that simply wasn't there before. Personally, I don't feel the need to move up to a larger 6DOF system. Pitch and roll do a surprisingly convincing job of creating the sensation of surge and sway, and for my space and budget, the H4 feels like the sweet spot.

Over the years I've had plenty of questions, ordered replacement parts, and worked directly with support several times. Customer service has always been responsive and genuinely helpful, even when diagnosing more complicated issues. Viktor, in particular, has been fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, patient, and clearly invested in helping customers succeed.

The only real hardware issue I experienced was with one of my original motors. Under very aggressive motion profiles it would occasionally bind, and eventually it developed a squeak. Looking back, I'm fairly certain I was asking too much of it. My rig is probably a bit over the recommended weight once you factor in all my heavy hardware and accessories, and I'm a larger guy myself, so I was definitely pushing the system harder than its published weight rating. At the time I also hadn't yet learned how to properly tune motion profiles. The replacement motor was less expensive than I expected, and DOF Reality even installed it for me when I ordered my H4 upgrade kit. Since then the system has been flawless. All of the motors are extremely smooth, quiet, and free of any stepping or cogging.

Shipping took longer than originally estimated, but communication was always good and everything eventually arrived exactly as promised. Considering these systems are designed, manufactured, and exported from Ukraine, I have a great deal of respect for what the company has been able to accomplish, and I'm happy to continue supporting them.

The rigs themselves are built from sturdy steel, are surprisingly compact, and completely transform both sim racing and flight simulation. Moving from a static cockpit to motion is one of the biggest immersion upgrades you can make.

One final thing I'd mention is that motion simulation isn't like buying a TV or a game console. These are complex electromechanical systems that interface with games, telemetry software, USB devices, and Windows, so some troubleshooting is simply part of the hobby regardless of who builds the hardware. In my experience, DOF Reality has always been willing to help, but owners should expect to do a little investigating and learning along the way. Diagnosing every unique hardware or software issue remotely over email isn't always realistic, and I think having the right expectations makes for a much better ownership experience.

After years of ownership, hundreds of hours of use, and now owning both an H3 and H4, I'd absolutely recommend DOF Reality. The fact that I chose to upgrade within their ecosystem instead of replacing the rig with something else probably says more than anything else I could write.

I've had my H3 for almost 3 years and had my controller box malfunction. I submitted a ticked through their website and was contacted by Victor via email. He was quickly able to find the problem and gave me a solution that got me back up and running.

DOF Reality opens up another world....from racing to flight...things we could have only dreamed of to VR reality. Ha ha....I still remember as a child flipping kitchen chairs over, crawling inside and imagining flight and racing....now, not much different...ha ha but it moves...
The DOF H4 is absolutely amazing. Words can't capture what it translates to our brains. Worth every penny, sad that it takes so many pennies but a lot less than other companies.
DOF Reality has reality stepped up and helped me with my H3 to H4 upgrade problem. In building the H4 from my H3 platform I ran into some issues with the main horizontal support bar and one of the gas struts. It was painful to see but.....Omo from Customer support....WoW what a response and service. I called the number and left a message. I got a call back right away.....he listened to my situation and was very supportive and encouraging. He put the order in for some parts right away...WoW! They were shipped within three days....WoW! Yeah it took three weeks to get to me but what can you expect with the Ukraine situation and customs all over the place. Parts fit perfectly and rig is up and running....loving the H4. Omo was quick to respond to my emails and did a great job. I also appreciate all the support and understanding from Viktor and James. They were patient with all my questions and snags I ran in to and they helped me resolve any of the issues. I was able to upload video of my rig on one of the social media and I received the promised credit. Yes, the company is innovative, honest and they do take care of their customers. Their products....the H3 and H4 are absolutely amazing, worth every penny. Thank you DOF! (No I wasn't paid or asked for this review.....but I did learn to have plenty of patience.)

I purchased the H2 unit about two years ago and was very pleased with how it performed and how well I received service support when I had a small problem.
Consequently, after the introduction of the H2 to H4 upgrade, I placed an order for the new system.
I received the upgrade package very expeditiously which was well packaged and delivered without any damage.
I had a relatively small issue during the assembly process but was able to resolve the issue through the service support team contact (Viktor) who was very patient in troubleshooting the problem with me.
I was very impressed with the quality of the product and would recommend the DOF Reality product to anyone interested in adding to their desire to continue the closest thing to actually flying without the hazards and dangers of real piloting as the required reflexes change with growing age.

I had a great experience with DOF Reality. Their simulators are excellent — well-built, immersive, and make racing/flight simulation feel much more realistic. The motion feedback adds a completely different level of enjoyment and makes the whole setup feel professional.

What also impressed me was their customer service. The team was responsive, helpful, and clearly cared about making sure everything worked properly. Any questions I had were answered clearly, and the support made the whole experience much easier.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the product and the service. I would definitely recommend DOF Reality to anyone looking for a high-quality motion simulator and reliable support.

I had a H6 Dofreality Sim. It is a TON of fun and provides incredible immersion. I only do flight (no racing). i'm a highly seasoned pilot and flight instructor. I even do aerobatics in mine.
It. is. a. blast.

Persistent reliability and connectivity issues, DOF Reality are arrogant, dismissive and totally at odds with their marketing blurb about aftersales care. My H3 product is not fit for purpose - I wasn't told that I'd need to be a software engineer and mess about with Arduino boards when I purchased the product. Give this dreadful company a wide berth....

I received my new H3 less than a month after placing the order, and the whole experience has been excellent.

I’ve now been using it for a full month, and I can say I’m just as happy with it as I was on day one.

Before buying, I watched many reviews and was prepared for possible issues or having to make adjustments. In the end, none of that was necessary. The assembly was precise and everything fit perfectly. The only small modification I had to make was drilling two new holes for my own seat, but that was due to the specific model I use — not the platform itself.

It’s also clear that this version is significantly improved compared to the early models shown in older reviews. The refinements really show.

Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. It exceeded my expectations.

I bought an H2 from these guys. Stop working the first day. I called and submitted a ticket through their site and no response. Now I'm stuck a 3000 dollar paper weight. I currently filed a complaint State Office of Attorney with these guys. If you don't believe me? Give them a call and see if they answer.

My H6 motion simulator stopped having motion on the left side. Dof Reality support worked with me for several days to diagnose what the problem was and how to rectify it. It's funny what happened because they suggested unhooking the emergency stop button from both controllers thinking that it might be the cause of my problem. I hadn't had it hooked up to begin with so just for laughs I did connect it and everything is now working as it should. I also used XAI to help diagnose what was going on and it basically mirrored what support was telling me. I have no qualms recommending anyone thinking about purchasing a motion simulator to look into Dof Reality.

Dof reality fait régulièrement évoluer la qualité de leurs plate-formes. J'ai personnelement acheté un H3 il y a 6 mois. La plupart des défauts par rapport leurs h3 d'il y a 3 ou 4 ans ont été corrigés (meilleur rigidité, nouveaux moteurs plus stables et sans sacades etc). Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable. Apres mon achat Dof reality a continué à faire évoluer mon matériel gratuitement en passant la plate-forme de 10 bits à 12 bits via une mise à jour du firmware pour une fluidité encore meilleure. Une piece de la box (la carte STM) n'était alors plus compatible et dof m'en a envoyé une nouvelle (donc ce passage de 10 bits à 12bits qu'ils n'avaient promis à personne a eu un coût pour eux me concernant). Il s'agit d'une petite entreprise à succès avec les défauts que ca peut comporter, mais ce sont des personnes dévouées et qui font tout pour nous assister au mieux.

It took several days of digging, but James Wilson was wonderful at helping me work out the problem with my H6 until I was back up and running again.

Purchased 4/2018. I have been using this P3 platform for 7 years and I have had zero issues with it and I love it. It is a great unit. 5 stars!

Great product (H3) quick and helpful support before and after order.

I have had my DOF Reality H3 for several years and was very happy with it. Customer support was great when I had some questions. I had upgraded it to SFU gearboxes and never had any problems with it.
Then this year, I went to the Chicago SIM racing expo and tried out the DOF H6. Well, I ordered the H6 the same day.
The DOF H6 is very nicely built. Everything fits together perfectly. It has different hole patterns for various pedals and Wheel bases, so my stuff bolted right on. Over the years they really have refined and improved their motion simulators.
The emersion is awesome. Feels very realistic, so fun to drive. I am super happy and can highly recommend the DOF Reality H6.
