Way to costly for what it worth
Gates are disappointing you have to pay for the most costly gate for it to fit the front door or it to small and you have to pay for postage to return it too. Definitely wont be ordering again

Many thanks for your honest review, Madeline. We’re sorry you feel the gate is not value for money for you. Returning the gate is always the customers responsibility, this is stated in the T&C’s before purchasing, we’re sorry to learn your experience was not up to your expectations.
We like the idea of the Dog G8 but…
We like the idea of the Dog G8, but in reality it’s not the most durable product. We’d had it installed for less than 24 hours and my husband slipped into it, the whole thing capitulated and several of the clips broke, meaning we’ve had to order more clips so as to not waste the £100 spent on the gate (you’re paying for the concept, not the product). Can’t complain about delivery which was very prompt.

Many thanks for your review Jenna. Sorry to learn your husband slipped and broke some of the clips. You have a 2 year warranty on the gate, so you do not need to pay for the replacement clips. Please contact us with your order number to admin@dog-g8.com and you’ll get refunded for these replacements.
Straight forward ordering
Straight forward ordering, arrived promptly, easy to set up and keeps our puppy safely behind the gate when the door is open. Brilliant piece of equipment, would definitely recommend.

Great gate except my dog can open it!
Needed the extra large, chrome dog gate for our rescue Lurcher. The gate is perfect except, even with the extra locks on the gate, he can still open it. They are just screws to hold the pins in place but he quickly learnt that by wiggling the gate backwards and forwards, they come loose. A better locking design is needed.
Very disappointed as it was t cheap.

Super Idea, best door, usable everywhere- best quality
Super quality, easy to install wherever you want. Meantime I have in and outdoor 5 (with the special for the front door) . The best is the door hinge with the “stopper”, Because my poodles and chihuahuas figured out that they could lift the grates from underneath with their snouts. Now they can't do that anymore. Very quick deliveries and super that we can order spare parts or additional small parts. Never found this genial parts and service in another country in europe! Greetings from Switzerland :)

A great idea to keep our Bernese Mountain Dog behind the gate when the front door is opened and much easier than trying to hold on to him when anyone arrived.

Best invention in dog gates
My pups used to escape every time i opened the front door.Thanks to Dog-G8 i can now open the door stress free to receive parcels etc and my pups are safely inside.Best invention EVER,wish i had bought it sooner.Easy to install too!

Great product
Great product, works really well. Im so glad I bought this because it really helps my anxious dog when people knock on my frontdoor. Using the dog gate allows my dog to see who is at the door with me but it also ensures my dog isnt able to escape or get close to the other person.

We used the gate in our campervan but when we upgraded to a motorhome it was a little short and we needed new fixings. These were provided efficiently and it was very easy to add the extra section. Thank you

Great product, until she figured it out....
Bought the Stair G8 to stop our labrador puppy from getting upstairs. After 8 weeks she's worked out that she can get her nose/tongue under the lower clip section and push it up while also pushing on the gate. Hey presto, it opens and she's away up the stairs. A lot of money spent on a product but all is not lost. Following an email after reading my initial review a couple of clips are on their way so we look forward to trialling these and hopefully we're back in control of the first floor!
