First of all, thank you for diploma you send me
I was long time looking for a suitable watercolor painting course. All I found ,was incomplete information without any basic foundations.
Then I came across the Watercolor Academy on the internet, and I was impressed by their program. Given my advanced age, I had reservations about stepping into unfamiliar territory. I had spent my whole life working for others, so why not do something for myself?
Several years have passed now, and I don't regret it for a second. The Academy gave me such a solid foundation and framework ,that I can easily immerse myself in watercolor painting, and not only immerse myself, but enjoy painting. These foundations are well thought out, properly timed, and lead you perfectly and reliably to success. Thank you for your expert guidance. Till now, II now have four solo watercolor exhibitions behind me and, of course, praise.

I supplemented my painting skills with a course at the Drawing Academy. I advise you, dear reader, to choose this course if you have similar ambitions to mine.
With the help of Richy, Vladimir, and the other Academy staff, I guarantee that you will achieve what may initially seem like an unattainable goal. You will find great joy in painting.

To create good art, you must first learn to draw well. That was the most important lesson I learned from Drawing Academy, a course that goes from the basics to the most advanced techniques. Thanks to this training, I can now draw what I see, what I imagine, with greater confidence and freedom.

My journey began in 2017, when I discovered Anatomy Master Class, driven by my curiosity to understand classical sculpture. That was just the first step. In 2023, I continued with Life Drawing Academy, where I learned to draw from life with ease, capturing the human body with greater confidence. However, it was then that I realized something deeper: I was missing the most essential thing, the thing that gives meaning to everything else. I discovered that the true foundation of visual art is, quite simply, “drawing.”

For a long time, art was just a hobby for me. I drew in my free time, driven by positive feedback from my friends. But I did so without considering the fundamentals: proportions, materials, tonal values, and, above all, without following a structured process.

Knowing I needed to strengthen my skills, I decided to study drawing more formally. That's how I found Drawing Academy in 2024, an online course inspired by classical tradition that offers solid, methodical instruction.

Thanks to it, I learned to:
Draw using clear lines and correct proportions,
Create volume and shadows using pencil and graphite,
Represent objects from different angles.

Drawing Academy was a transformative experience. Its structured approach and the clarity of its practical lessons make it an invaluable tool for those who want to develop as artists.

Drawing Academy, Anatomy Master Class, and Life Drawing Academy (in that order) form a true "educational trilogy" that marked a before and after in my consolidation as an artist.

The Drawing Academy is what taught me real drawing skills. Before enrolling, I was fairly good at copying photos but knew little about the fundamentals of drawing or which drawing advice to even trust. The course is very thorough, covering everything from how to hold and sharpen a pencil to perspective, human anatomy and more. Every lesson is based on constructive drawing principles, which are necessary for developing drawing skills and rarely taught elsewhere. I'm really greatful for the Drawing Academy for completely changing how I understand and approach drawing. The only downside is that now I'm painfully aware (and very frustrated by) how poor most drawing education is elsewhere, even in respected art academies!

As someone who has always been passionate about art, I enrolled in the Drawing Academy to systematically improve my skills from foundational sketches to color mastery. My goal is to create visual narratives that capture life's beauty and eventually inspire my children to embrace art.
Before parenthood, I could dedicate 10 uninterrupted hours daily to painting. While my time is now fragmented, this course has taught me to maximize every moment. The systematic curriculum ensures continuous growth, even with limited practice time.

I enrolled in the drawing academy courses because I wanted to learn to draw and learn the proper techniques of drawing. I found that the drawing academy courses provide very clear and precise instructions and demos so I can go back to it anytime I need for clarifications. I love the classical ways used by the academy for the instructions and I love the different aspects that are in the course, such as perspective, foreshortening, hatching skills and many more. When I watched the rendering technique demos, it opened my eyes to proper ways to render a smooth final product, I am very impressed with what I can learn and take away from these lessons. I wanted to continue to improve my skills so that I would eventually be recognized as a real artist, that would be my goal and dream. Another benefit I found is the interactive aspect of the course. If I have questions, I can always send in a request for help and I will receive instant replies to my questions and careful instructions on what to do and exercises to help improve my skill level. I can also do the lessons on my own leisure and never feel pressed for time. As an example, I have been stuck and unable to motiate myself for the last 2 years. Finally, I have decided to just take the plunge and restart my art journey, I am already getting help and support from the staff. I am very thankful that I have The Drawing Academy to support me.

The Drawing Academy course has been an incredible journey for developing foundational drawing skills. From the start, the course laid a solid foundation in using different tolls for drawing ie pencils , eraser , and other material used for sketching, offering easy-to-follow techniques that helped build confidence in my abilities. The lessons on perspective were particularly insightful, teaching me how to capture depth and dimension in my work, which significantly improved the realism of my drawings.

The section on rendering shades of still life added another layer of complexity to my skills. Understanding light, shadow, and texture has been invaluable for creating lifelike drawings. The course also offered a deep dive into human anatomy, equipping me with the knowledge to draw figures more accurately. The anatomy lessons gave me a strong understanding of proportions, muscles, and structure, making my figure drawings far more realistic.

Overall, the Drawing Academy course provided a thorough and practical approach to mastering the basics of sketching and drawing. The techniques learned are flexible, easy to apply, and have given me the tools to take my art to the next level. I feel more confident in my skills and more prepared for advanced artistic challenges.

The drawing academy course is in my opinion the best course to learn classical drawing skills. No other course offers the priceless information and critique that drawing academy does. I had a good all around experience with Drawing Academy and I’ve been enrolled for a few years. I have learned the foundation’s of classical drawing starting from drawing supplies and materials to sharpening pencils correct ways of constructive drawing and building tonal rendering and learning how to draw anything I want. I still am learning new material today.I found this course to be the most helpful art drawing course I’ve taken.

This company has the rudest most unprofessional support staff. If you submit an image when entering a competition the smallprint allows drawingacademy to plaster your personal details as well as the image all over the internet. When i contacted support at drawingacademy.com and asked for the image and details to be removed i got a response from 'Alex' who told me to 'calm down' and brusquely informed me the text had been amended. When i complained about his/her tone i received an even ruder reply accusing me of being abusive and not to contact them again. Avoid.
