We received a cheap knock-off
My girlfriend and I bought a pop-up book with dinosaurs for children from "Drippere". Instead of the advertised book however we received, after more than a month-and-a-half, a cheap knock-off. There were way 3 pages instead of 6. The advertised gatefold pages were completely missing. There were only 3 pop-ups instead of the promised more than 35 (even on the back of the knock-off it says that there should be over 35 pop-ups inside). The whole thing didn't look printed but photocopied and glued together in some workshop. It came from China instead of the US (even though there still is a big logo on the website right now that says "Made in the USA Certified"). And on top of that it arrived badly packed and damaged. We wrote with "Drippere's" customer service that promises 24/7 Customer Service & 30 days money back guarantee. We wrote again. And again. But no answer ever.
In the end, and after almost a month of going back and forth with Klarna, Klarna decided that we didn’t have to pay for this. But Jee: what a bad and tiring experience this was. "Drippere" looks like a toy-website, and maybe we should have taken that as a red flag. You can still buy the dinosaur pop-up book, by the way, except that it’s available at a discount at the moment. My advise is that you don’t :-D :-D…
And what the company could do better? Hahaha! Think it goes without saying...
