They cancelled my cricket order because they didn't have that size in stock. Instead of reaching out to me to see if I could go with a different size, they cancelled the order, but didn't even contact me to let me know. I only found out because the FedEx tracking info said the shipper cancelled the order. I had to email them to see what had happened. This is really bad business when they know animals are depending on that food arriving. They waisted almost a week of my time. Now I'm left trying to find another place to order from only to have to wait several more days for that to arrive. I will not trust this place with my business ever again.

Horned Worms(24 count) We have a full grown bearded dragon(Bella). I need large worms for her. She loves her green horned worms. We always order next day shipping for horned worms. I have never received them whole. Always many dead :( This time they sent the smallest worms I have ever seen and unfortunately all arrived dead and not only the tiny tiny worms but eggs also. They always try to hide behind the fact that you can't call them so they answer whenever they want . Try contacting the owner I guess he don't care . Been a customer for 10 years . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! I ordered 100 xl discoid roaches that are supposed to be 1.25” at the minimum for my full grown beardy they were 1/2-3/4 of an inch at best. I contacted the company they said they needed photographic proof so I sent photos, they then gave me an unrealistic instructions that I need a 1” CLEAR tube present in the photo that they DID NOT PROVIDE. This is not the way to conduct business by any means necessary, NO ONE should have to jump through hoops to get exactly what they paid for.

IF you have photo evidence, they will still deny your claim. They are criminals, im contacting BBB my local news and hoping the CEO sees this. Their customer service is abhorrent and whoever is mailing LIVE animals without temperature control should be jailed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are too big and do not care AT ALL. I will tell every distributor and customer I can to avoid them.
Incorrect sizes
30% or more of my fairly large order were incorrect sizes. A size or two under in price range. Thought it was a mistake but upon looking other people have made the same complaint. It was never corrected or addressed, just the two dead containers of mealworms which I was given credit (in points which is dumb). Pretty dishonest and the lost me as a customer at least as far as bugs.
Great experience for over 5 years.
I am surprised by all the bad reviews, this is the only place I trust to buy my feeders from. I've always had a good experience for over 5 years, even if something happened to be wrong with my order it was always fixed in a professional manner. I live in a very rural area and can always count on them.
Great bugs, shipping and customer service
Living in Alaska there are zero good options to buy isopods or Dubai’s or any bugs really. Having them shipped is also extremely risky due to weather and climate, but I have had such great experiences with dubiaroaches.com! Not a single dead on arrival which is unheard of , I am so impressed with the few orders I’ve received. The roaches and isopods are healthy and thriving months later. Customer service was super helpful when ups messed up causing my springtail starter to arrive destroyed they immediately offered to either send a replacement free of charge, refund me immediately or the give me store credit no questions asked. Customer service also gave great advice on how to care for each critter I bought . I will be a longtime customer with them for sure. Also every shipment I ordered I paid for 2 day shipping and they all arrived on the 2nd day. Definitely worth a look if you need feeders
I "Was" a long time customer
I was a long time customer, but the company seems to have changed. They no longer care about customer service. They offer discount codes that never work and they send bugs that are dead or under the amount ordered. The delivery always takes longer to arrive than promised, yet it is the customers responsibility to be there when they arrive. They ask for a photo of proof, but when you send it to them they always have an excuse of why its not their fault. The reps are not helpful and are patronizing. After many years of being a customer of Dubia.Com, I will be taking my business elsewhere. There are a ton of other competitors out there to choose from. I would not advise using them if you have other options.
Best reptile supplies
I would recommend DR's insects and supplies to anyone with reptiles or amphibians. I've been buying from them for years now. The customer service is incredible, the prices are very fair, quality is very good, and shipping is quick.

Terrible service paid for 2 day shipping just to get my items a week later, and then told it was nothing they can do about it
whole order arrived DOA
whole order arrived DOA, sent them pictures immediately and still haven't heard back from them. sure wish I would of looked around and read their various reviews before ordering from them. if you are reading do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.
What is happening to this place??
They used to be on point with live insects and shipping. Now, sometimes i will have less insects than what i paid for. if I pay for Fed Ex 2 day shipping, it takes 4 days to get it. I could have paid less for regular shipping. What a rip off. It was too good to be true.
Never arrives when they should
The bugs never arrive when they are supposed to. The response from customer service is always "give it a few more days". I will be finding a new supplier. One that actually gets the bugs to you when they say they will.
Recieved my 200 dubias ALIVE
Recieved my 200 dubias. Ordered 100 large 100 medium. They arrived alive and proper sizings. Came with egg containers inside of a vented typical insect cup.
Defective bulbs no refunds
I purchased an almost $50 mercury vapor bulb recently and it is not as advertised. It barely puts out ANY uvb according to my uvi meter. Guess I’m SOL since they don’t accept returns even when an item is defective.
Terrible experience with this company
Terrible experience with this company. We have ordered from them three times. The first time was great, second time micro size roaches were sent instead of what we ordered. They said it was "normal" to get variety. None were the expected size, definitely not a variety. We let it go and tried again with the black Friday sale. We received
almost 50 less than the 300 we ordered. I contacted the company, 11 emails later, they begrudgingly agreed to give less than half of what it would cost to reorder the missing ones and said they shouldn't even do that. They have awful customer service and won't take responsibility for what probably was a simple mistake.
The enclosure I ordered arrived with…
The enclosure I ordered arrived with tons of shipping damage. Dubia refuses to replace the item and will only send replacement parts that I can prove don’t function.
I didn’t pay almost $500 for a scuffed up enclosure and I don’t trust the stability considering how extensive the damage is.
