Appalling company. UNCONTACTABLE...they say available through web chat....waiting forever for an assistant. Call the number, 5 minute waffle and repeating to go to live chat. blah blah sending us round the houses. JUST GET A HUMAN TO ANSWER THE PHONE FFS
delivery says delivered....its not. calling card posted....it is not and NOBODY to help!

Absolutely pathetic service! Three days of waiting for a collection and no correspondence at all or apologie. You will be permanently on the phone trying to sort your parcel out yourself....
Avoid them they are incompetent

We placed our order with a local garden centre and they informed us we would be contacted within 5 working days for delivery to be arranged. We got a text after two days telling us when our delivery would be and with a 2 hour time slot. This was really helpful, well in advance of the delivery date. On the day before our delivery, we had another text confirming the delivery and the same time slot and this was well received as a lot of suppliers tend to change original times or don't keep to a two hour window. The delivery came right on time (earliest time in our window) and the two lads who delivered (Ben & Graeme) were excellent. Very courteous and friendly and placed my order just where I asked them. I had a very brief chat with both lads whilst they were delivering and they were both really polite and engaging.
Excellent from start to finish, cant fault it.

Delivery was rescheduled as they didn't receive on time. I contacted online chat and they gave me a new date, text message received night before as promised with time. Got an update and a phone call 30 mins before. Ian and Jordan carried heavy item into my garage, very polite and professional. Wished them both a pleasant day.

The delivery drivers Jaspret and Sohall delivering on behalf of B&Q, were on time, polite and very helpful, a credit to the company 👍🏻

DX believes, or rather their drivers do, that it is acceptable to leave deliveries at the beginning of the driveway, rather than delivering to the house. Even better to leave items in the pouring rain and in a puddle.

RUBBISH COMPANY DRIVERS

Spent 7 days tracking an item move around the north west!
1x failed delivery attempt, that was a blatant lie, no attempt was made, 1x sent incorrectly from Preston to Grimsby depot and still no parcel! I'm having to drive to collect it from Preston if/ when it finally arrives - I have been constantly lied to about its whereabouts and delivery slots - do not use!!!!

Had a delivery of a sofa by Terri & Ash. Really professional, on time, kept us up to date. Great girls, job well done!

The 2 lads who delivered my parcel,Abel&Iuli,were spot on.very friendly,professional and arrived at exact time they said they would.plus they carted it up the stairs.

Bought bath and 4 accessory items from City Plumbing. DX to deliver.
The window today said 8am to 6pm,delivery within those 10 hours.
I rang DX early morning and twice at lunchtime. Nobody answered.
Made calls to warehouse, no real help.
The tracking said 3 out of 5 items would be delivered. They don't say which 3 so I don't know whether it's the bath or not.
The tracking doesn't update.
On one DX call I could leave a message to ring them back. 6 hours later, no reply from them.

I had to go for a hospital appointment today
I'm mature and unwell
Email said that they have to leave bath etc by side of road due to insurance.
Received message at 3.30pm that they've misrouted my goods, and that they won't arrive until tomorrow. It could mean up to 18 hours of my time waiting. This is seriously stressful.
I can't carry bath from side of the road alone.
I spoke to City Plumbing in 4 different places on phone. One person said that they may only be delivering 3 items as there may be potential damage to the others.
They keep transferring you. I've spent well over an hour trying to ascertain what is coming and when.
I would like compensation. Multiple disasters all of the way. Thank you
