E&S - great customer service by Emily
I was shopping for a new dryer as ours broke I decided on a dryer then looked for the best price online.. I decided NOT TO go for the cheapest one I saw, as I got the feeling they were sold by dodgy brothers. I picked a company that looked like it would have decent support infrastructure for sales and after sales.
I messaged E &S Customer service through their online chat. Spoke to Emily was absolutely delightful and completed changed how I viewed e&s. I have dealt with e&s before, many years ago, and viewed it as a very impersonal business back then. We bought from them back then cause they were cheap, but the staff helping us wasn't personable. Nothing went wrong back then, just not personable.
But this time, Emily helped me via the online chat, then spoke to me on the phone when I requested it. She helped me compare 2 products I was considering, didn't treat me like I was annoying or wasting her time but actually researched for me and helped me understand the difference between 2 products. I was looking at a fisher pykel dryer series 5 and series 7. Reviews showed not much difference, but she helped me understand what the actual differences were, and i changed my mind from going for a series 5, and got a series 7 instead. On top of that she helped me with price matching against a competitor and gave me a great price.
She was friendly, patient, kind, not rushed or annoyed by my questions, and deserves employee of the month.
What Emily didn't know is that I have chronic fatigue and PTSD, and find everything massively exhausting, draining and stressful. She made the world of difference to me and took the stress away from buying a new product. I hope you have an employee incentive program and a knowledge and reward her! I ordered our dryer late afternoon. The delivery driver was at our door 7.50am the next morning. Super fast turn around! Plus free delivery, and took our old dryer away. Brilliant!
