Dora Roset planned a magnificent tour for my daughter and myself. Every detail went according to the itinerary!
Also, we were able to adapt some plans as a result of our personal heritage. The guides were amazing and taught us so much about the Jewish and local cultures of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. We chose to stay in boutique hotels in the old cities and were so happy that we made this choice. I would definitely choose this company again!

Our thanks to Dora Roget for putting together an amazing trip to Warsaw, Krakow, Prague and Budapest. The guides she chose for us in each city were excellent, highly knowledgeable, efficient and caring. Accommodations and their locations were ideal. The entire trip exceeded our expectations.

I hope East West tours ferry trips to St.Petersburg can resume soon….I have recommended it to so many of my traveling friends! The trip wildly exceeded my expectations. Our wonderful guide and driver met us at the dock in St. Petersburg and from that moment on we were whisked around the sights and museums of this beautiful city. Our hotel was attractive and comfortable and served an impressive buffet breakfast. In the evening we walked around the neighborhood, enjoyed cappuccinos and chatting with staff at a cute cafe, consulted with the owner of a restaurant about the menu, and of course checked out the shops. (One thing we failed to do was to carry some Russian currency…..so sadly, we weren’t able to patronize the adorable red and black polka dot coffee truck….cash only!)

Following a complicated, multi-stop, multi-person, and eventful trip to Russia and Eastern Europe, I can say that Alex at East West is hands down the best travel agent I have worked with, ever, and by a long shot. Incredibly responsive, patient, and solution-oriented. Bravo!

We had not used this tour company before our trip to St. Petersburg but we were very fortunate to have found it. The tour was excellent and covered the city, it’s history and a little of current life. The best part was our guide, Marsha. She has extensive historical and current knowledge, a great communicator and was friendly and helpful. I’m sure it is difficult to keep a group together especially in crowds, but she did so with calmly and pleasantly. Her English was impeccable. Our driver, Boris, kept us safe and was always there, waiting for us. Thank you for making our visit memorable.

I just wanted to thank you and your agency for a wonderful trip! Everything from the ferry trip (s) to the tour of St Petersburg was fantastic!!! Our tour guide was awesome! She was very knowledgeable, helpful and an all round great person. I will recommend this tour for all my friends.

Incredible tour of St Petersburg. Professional perfection! Every transfer on time, our hotel was a piece of art and luxury. Our guide’s (Marie) orientation was to provide a cultural and educational experience. Marie worked non stop to share the glorious art, masterpieces, palaces, cathedrals, etc. Our driver, Bruno, was precise and cautious while driving from location to extraordinary location.
We will travel with Dora’s company again! We strongly recommend this company. The best experience we have had.

I really enjoyed my trip! The guide and the hotel in St. Petersburg were awesome. The places we visited in St. Petersburg were amazing as well. I also enjoyed the time on the boat. The food was great. Moreover, I enjoyed the time in Helsinki and Tallin. I only had a few hours in these cities, but with good planning it is possible to make the most of these hours. I also liked the fact the tour was starting in Stockholm in the evening and ending in Stockholm in the morning. That gave me some time to visit Stockholm.

I recently toured St. Petersburg with East West tours. While there were a few problems at the outset with setting up our trip, our guide while we were there was amazing. Masha had a wealth of information and history. She was welcoming, warm and couldn't have done more to make our tour better. If you were planning a trip with East West I would absolutely recommend that you request Masha as your guide.

Bobby put together a rather complex 5 country 31 day tour for us that was fully inclusive, e.g., airfares (complex because of the 5 country itinerary), securing Russian Visa's, airport meet/greet, private transfers, private guided tours throughout each country, boats, trains, all accommodations at 5 star hotels, and the logistical planning to make it all happen seamlessly. My wife and I travel once a year to places around the globe, but this trip had us a bit apprehensive due to traversing Russia from east to west and then north from St. Petersburg to three of the four Scandinavian countries. EVERYTHING went perfectly and was pulled off with exacting ease. Thank you, Bobby, for have made this trip extraordinary in every way possible!

Great trip. The guide and driver were both amazing, they got us around quickly and efficiently, kept us on time. The only regret is that we couldn't spend more time in St Petersburg

We recently returned from an 8-day trip to Moscow and St Petersburg that was arranged by East West tours. Alex was very efficient and lined up guides, hotels, transport and the tour itineraries. We were very pleased with all the above. Alex also helped us with the air travel. We highly recommend.

My wife and I worked with Alex to plan out trip to St. Petersburg from Helsinki. Alex had the important correct information and he made calls to get us a Deluxe room on the ferry. Guests with a Deluxe room get on and off the ferry first thing which is a big deal when there are 100's of anxious people in line!
The hotel in St. Petersburg was the best hotel of the entire trip. It would easily be categorized as a four star hotel in the U.S. The tour guide , Anastasia, was excellent in that she was a walking historian about the life of the Czar's and took great pride in sharing her knowledge.
The food on the ferry was average but Anastasia took us to a stroganoff place in St. Petersburg that was better than the original Stroganoff Restaurant. She even obtained ballet tickets for us to Swan Lake at the Alexandrinsky Theater; not easy to do in the summer!

Now that I'm back home where I can use a real computer I'd like to thank you for the upgrade on my St. Petersburg tour. It made so many things easier and/or more comfortable, including a larger cabin and complimentary meals onboard as well as priority disembarkation. I also appreciate that you and/or your contacts in the city knew that I would clear Russian passport control in St. Petersburg way before the rest of the group because of my "commodore" status and had a private car and guide waiting for me for the first morning. The hotel in St. Petersburg, which was very nice to begin with, upgraded my room to a suite, so things were very luxurious there.They sent a lovely tray with cake, tea and a birthday card for my birthday on June 22 - a sad day in the city's history. I will never have trouble remembering when the siege of Leningrad began in the Second World War.

I do think that the tour operator should have given more consideration to the horrendous traffic in the city and the enormous number of tourists there in high season when scheduling.

This was a wonderful tour. We loved every part of it. Masha, in particular, was a real treasure. She was extremely knowledgeable and great company. Also, she was flexible when we needed it, and made our visit smooth as silk.
