Anyone can make a mistake - its how you deal with it.
The surveyor came and measured up for an electrically operated awning and external blinds, but unfortunately measured the drop for the blinds incorrectly.
When it came to the installation, the problem was found by the fitters, who re-measured our windows and after a further delivery delay, returned to fit the blinds.
On both visits, the fitters were very professional, explaining the problem and apologising profusely, leaving the work area clean and tidy on their departure.
We are very pleased with the end result and would recommend EGD and its awning & blinds products. It was a shame about the incorrect measurements - hence only the 4-star review.

The guy that came to do the initial measure was extremely professional and had good knowledge of the products. It was then delivered and fitted on time. I'm really please with the products quality and the way it has been fitted. Basically a great job done by a first class company.

Excellent service from the initial quote through to the completion of the work. I had a Hormann front door and a sectional double garage door fitted.

Both doors were fitted on the same day, with the old doors removed and taken away. The installation team were very friendly and helpful. They explained how everything worked with a demonstration before leaving. Everything looks fantastic and installed to a high standard, with no mess left behind.

I contacted EGD with an issue and was put in touch with Karl from the Technical department. We exchanged several messages via WhatsApp, most of which were outside normal working hours, which shows how committed Karl was to helping me resolve my issue. He was always extremely helpful, professional and very quick to respond in offering solutions. Great customer service!

Problems with a broken spring and I contacted EGD on a Saturday afternoon and really didn't expect a reply before Monday so was very pleased to get a message back asking for some info and photos of my problem. Karl was great with the help and advice and came and repaired the door himself. Everyone I spoke to at EGD were great and Karl himself was a great ambassador for them. Do I think EGD is one of the best... NO ! It is the BEST

Eastern Garage Doors were helpful in arranging a quote and then getting our new garage door fitted. The operative who fitted the door arrived promptly and carried out the work efficiently and to a high standard. Would recommend.

It was a little frustrating having to wait 10 days to get sorted but the staff at Eastern Garage Doors managed to fit in a visit sooner than they anticipated. The Issue with our Hormann garage door not opening was resolved swiftly on the visit. Happy with the service and will continue to use them for servicing in the future.
