Living in Denmark
Bought a Miroku president g11 based on the information eastfield gave on the YouTube channel. The information was the chokes were original but then I get it in my hands and measured the upper barrel it was opened up to half. Payed 2525£ for the shotgun and import fee tax end transport for the gun to 1685£ Total 4210£
I bought this gun as collectors item but the altered choke takes it away from this catagory and the prize drops by 50% Confronted eastfield gunroom with the facts by mail to find a solution.
Legally they should take the gun back and return my money.
Suggested eastfield to return half of the total amount payed and the gun could be sold here in Denmark.
They are not comment on that and offer me a discount at 500£. Cant be fair that I shall pay for eastfields inkompetence as I newer would concider buying this gun knowing the choke was altered.
Have had the gun evaluated by 3 different shops and 2 gunsmiths for verify my findings and get an estimated price. Both gunsmith confirm the upper barrel is approx half and not full and the traders offered me 18000-20000 DKK (2055-2283£)
They told me the total I payed shipping included was a fair price if the choke was unaltered.
What really make me dissapointed is how eastfield handle the whole case. They even accuse me for taken another barrel then I send photos of the findings with an inside micrometer. Have offered them to bring the gun to an gunsmith here in Denmark by their choice and make a video recording to verify my findings of their cost if I was right and on my cost if If im wrong. Now a year after it arrived there is still no solution.
Have not tried to pattern the gun yet but dont expect it will easy to find a shell who perform well since the altered choke is konical in the wrong direction going from 18,06 to 18,13 over the last 22 mm.
