Easy by name and easy in practice
Very straightforward to invest in, and the interest rates are pretty reasonable. Haven't tried to take money out yet but am assuming that is also as straightforward as described.

Multiple deposits and a transfer from standard account to IFISA went without a hitch.
It can take up to 14 days for a deposit to be invested, but this is in line with other platforms.
How easy it is to get my money back... to be seen!

Im just starting small so but very promising, I like most of all is the fact i can withdraw anytime just merely a month wait, not that I want to, but it the main reason why I pick this to invest in and build up in many months years to come!

Very disappointed with Easymoney bad…
Very disappointed with Easymoney bad practises. My wife invested 20k attracted by the rates and the 20k are still uninvested after few days. What the point to invest in this IFISA if there is no return, especially in this inflation context. Such a shame to see companies like that using the cashflow from their customers instead of investing them as promised

We are very saddened to read this review.
Waiting a short while for funds to be invested is a fairly normal part of peer-to-peer investing as we need to match funds to loans and are not a cash savings account.
This is accounted for in our advertised target rate as best we can and you will find that the loans are allocated across a range of rates with our advertised target rate being a weighted average of these.
The time taken to have your funds invested where it is not earning interest is known as "cash drag". Although we are calculating this into our target rate, this is still highlighted as the very first risk on our understanding the risks page here: https://easymoney.com/understanding-the-risks
The actual results of our advertised rates vs the rate investors are achieving on our platform is published in our "Outcomes Statement" on our statistics page here: https://easymoney.com/statistics
You will find that some of the loans your wife will be allocated will be at a higher rate than the advertised rate depending on the risk rating of the loan which feeds into this calculation.
We believe a majority of our investors would prefer we take the time needed to ensure they are allocated high quality loans rather than rush loans through to get their funds invested.
We understand this can sometimes be frustrating and we will continue to find ways to minimise this wait time.
Your wife's funds should be invested shortly and we hope we can turn this review around into a positive one.

Straightforward savings vehicle
Straightforward savings vehicle which provides higher percentage rate than the high street banks. Yes, there is a risk but in my (cautious) opinion, the risk is worth it due to the type of investment being made.
On occasions when I had to telephone the office (in the early days), staff have been most helpful and friendly.
Would recommend them to anyone looking to get a half decent return on their money.

All good so far.
It took a little while for my money to fund a loan but the interest is rolling in now.
Interest falls a bit short of the advertised rate but then I am only trialling a smallish loan at this stage.
Will update once this set of loans is completed.
